I installed this a few days ago and went right in no issues producing quick very hot water. I will say that adjusting the temp to 140° caused my safety valve to open a little pouring water into my drain pan. Not much but I turned it back to @130° and no issues anymore and water is plenty hot. In fact much hotter than I could ever stand without blending in cold. Not sure about this unit

I gave a review. They answered me saying to view the response, when I click it it just takes me to the water heater and no response. My review stated that when I went to raise the temperature and took the screw off there was already some rust starting on the tank I just purchased this unit. Even though I raised it to 125, it's still not hot enough I will raise the bottom element to 1:30 to see what happens. I would love to see the response to the rust underneath the screw panel. Water Heater

So far so good just had it about a week. I do not have anything bad to say so far.

I just had it installed yesterday. I felt the water was not hot enough, so I opened the panel to raise the temperature and saw that around where the screw goes, was already starting to rust. Wow brand spanking new and already starting to rust? That can't be good. Just saying.

Easy install

One of the easiest I have ever installed. Replaced a 14 year old GE unit. I like the foam insulation. We had good hot water within 1 hour after filling the unit and then turning on the power. Almost zero heat loss is detectable from unit when operating. Very pleased overall and hope that is true for many more years to come.

I would not buy this unit

Have had it for 9 days. This unit works one day and not the next. Awfully frustrating. We washed clothes one day took a shower after my husband went to take a shower hours later no hot water. Book said you can set to 140 degrees for smelly bacteria. Rest button tripped. Rest had hot water next day so used dishwasher during day took showers next day no hot water had tripped breaker. We decided to put heat at 135 Degrees today will wash clothes and see what happens next. I just want hot water from...

Meets all my needs!

I got a friend with a truck to help me pick it up. Then another friend set it up for me. It was lightweight out of the box and set up with the use of SharkBite connectors I also bought. The water temperature was preset to a lovely 120 degrees, which is perfect for me. The water pressure increased from my 40-year-old unit, and the water is clean and tastes great now. I have hot water for a full shower, so I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
