Stopped working
Installed about a month ago and it's been working fine ever since. 3 days ago the water came out of the faucet hotter than normal. The following day it stopped working. I'm not sure what happened but this has become a seriously problem for our family. It's not making sense.

Would Not RecommendWe bought this unit in 2020. It initially worked great, but in only four years has needed a new thermostat, heating element, and valve. The warranty is junk covering parts only, and very difficult to get honored. When looking for a service provider that AO Smith would honor the warranty with, they sent me a company from a different state that wanted $300 just to show up, much less complete the repairs. In the end it was cheaper to just replace than try and maintain.
