What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the compact lowboy design and side-mounted connections, highlighting ease of installation in tight spaces like crawl spaces and under-counter areas. Most report fast heating and reliable hot water supply sufficient for daily use without running out. However, some experience drain valve leaks and persistent water odor issues. A few note problematic valve placement complicating installation and report unit failures within months. Despite these concerns, the vast majority remain satisfied with core functionality and space-saving design.

Works great!
Would RecommendThis unit is perfect for my small home(1060 sq ft). I’m pretty handy (I’ve remodeled my previous homes and built decks, etc) and installed it myself with common tools by following the easy-to-follow instructions. The ONLY issue I had was my old pipes that kept breaking! Once the unit was installed, I was back up and had HOT running water again and the satisfaction of doing the job myself and thereby, saving on labor costs!

Replacing 1 with i/o On the top Be ready 2 Plumb
Did not like that the picture describing it is different than the actual Unit Intake and output Are on the side not the top. Other than that I like the product I bought it When my 50 gallon tank suddenly went out. I live alone so I bought a smaller unit For two reasons One I have gas lines into my house but not to the water heater. and I plan on putting a 50 gallon gas in Sometime in the future. I also have plans To move someday and have an outbuilding garage that's going to need hot water as we...

Requires additional parts.
Would Not RecommendI did not realize it needed to take in water from the bottom unlike the unit it replaced. This unit required more additional parts which were not indicated during original purchase.

Great replacement for mobile homes
Would RecommendThis unit fit right where the old 19 gallon heater came out. Fast heat up and so far no problem running out for hot water for the two of us.

looks good
Has side connections to fit under kitchen counter
Would RecommendThis replaced a heater that was clearly installed before the countertop was installed so the piping had to be cut to get it out. Having connections on the side allowed this to be installed without removing the countertop. Notes: (1) that the covers over the electric heater elements (center in the photo) protrude from the cylinder about 1"/2.5cm so you actually need 23" front-to-back space available (2) it is not obvious in any photo but the electrical connection is on top - if you look carefully...

great features and price, easy to install
Would RecommendHappy with this unit, was easy to install even with having to replumb the area it sits in. It is working fine and providing heated water great.

Perfect for crawl space
Would RecommendJust what I needed for dry crawl space due to height and plumbing on side vs top. I service for a few days, but plumber agreed it was easier to install. Hope this lasts 13 + years like my last one.
