Works good but…

The check valve is super quiet and works smoothly but the rubber couplings that come with it were leaking after I tightened them down. I bought two rubber couplings and there wasn’t any leaking after I installed it with those. Maybe have some extra couplings on hand just in case.

Cracked and incomplete

Ordered 2 and received faulty units. 1 was cracked and the other missing a hose clamp. Not made in USA as some others already pointed out.

Very Quiet

We moved into a new home four months ago and the sump pump is directly below our master bedroom. I am a light sleeper and would wake up every time the sump ran. I tried everything to quiet the “water hammer” and came across these quiet check valves. I purchased one yesterday and installed easily. Last night was QUIET! Glad I did the research and found these. I knew the Zoeller name so the decision was easy.

Not a good seal

I installed this brand new check valve and tried testing it multiple times but it keeps leaking from the top, meaning all the water that the check valve is holding will slowly leak, rendering the product useless. I've disconnected and reconnected and fully tightened the metal clamps and it continues to leak. I assume I have a faulty product.

Quiet Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

This is a quiet valve even though the product title and valve says nothing about it. It immediately eliminated the "thunk" sound after pump shuts off. Lowes item number 955618

Quiet valve works great

Check valve installed easily and solved the banging issue when the sump pump would shut off.

Knock off received - Buyer Beware

Brand sent confirmed via google to NOT be Zoeller. Buyer beware. Seems to be a nice knock off but a knock off nonetheless.

No more hammering noises!

This is such a clever product! It solved the issue of the loud hammering noise on my sump pump check valve. I was able to swap out the existing check valve & it only took a few minutes. Now we can sleep again without the sump pump waking us every time it runs!

1000% quieter

We live in a flood zone and our 2 sump pumps goes off every few minutes. They caused a loud bang (water hammer) that shook the house—we could even hear the noise on the 2nd floor at night. We had standard check valves in vertical positions. After our plumber installed (horizontally) 2 Zoeller quiet check valves, there is zero noise. Nothing. It’s a night and day difference. It’s like the sump pump it’s even there. Highly recommend.

This valve wss super easy to install. Took me about 20 minutes. My sub pump is completely quiet.

Noiseless

My sump pump runs a lot since I am on a high water table. Recently, my son did some research and we ordered the Zoeller Plastic Check Valve. He installed it and said the installation was simple and there have been no leaks. The best thing is that it is completely noiseless! Previously, my sump pump made a very loud clunk when it shut off. This product is wonderful and we recommend it highly!

Very quiet!

With the recent heavy rain our sump pump was going off every minute and the loud clunk below our bedrooms was driving us crazy. It Works!

Unbelievable! I was skeptical from a bad experience but this thing really works! Totally silent. A couple years ago I had to replace my sump pump. I had used a regular check valve with it, but it was noisy. I saw what was claimed to be a quiet valve called a "Basement Watchdog Klunkless Check Valve" and thought it would provide some relief.
