Night and Day Difference

My sump pump was making such a loud thud when it stopped pumping. It was so loud the walls would vibrate. After googling, I installed this valve, not very confident it would fix my issue, but it did. I have ZERO noise or thud now when the pump shuts off. Amazing. Couldn’t be happier with this valve. Best $40 I’ve spent!!!

Works as advertised

Happy to report that this product solved my issue by completely eliminating the slamming noise of my previous valve. Sturdy construction and easy to install. I highly recommend.

Very Quiet Check Valve

My sump pump runs often in the Spring and Summer and I've gone through several check valves over the years. They typically have a loud clunk when the valve closes which gets louder with time. I just installed this Zoeller check valve and is it very quiet, the quietest one I've ever used. I hope it lasts a long time! So far, it's great.

This is the quietest check valve I have ever not heard!

All good so far.

Much quieter closing than the black rubber valves. Plus it is a full 1-1/2" vs. most others that are 1-1/4" valves with 1-1/2" expanders on each end. Durability unknown, I just installed them.

This valve is awesome!! I will never buy a different one. We had a continuous thud every time the sump pump would shut off....Also, we were unsure if the valve the plumber put in a couple months ago even worked because it sounded like all the water would just drain right back in... Turns out the valve was junk... I changed out this check valve myself in about 4 minutes with no prior plumbing knowledge. No sound of water draining back in to the basin-- and no thud. The only thing you can hear ...

Super Quiet!

I can’t remember the last time I wrote a review, but this product is worth it! It’s EXTREMELY quiet! Huge difference for us as our bedroom is over the sump pump. The only issue is that it did require cutting PVC as the length is different. Thankful for helpful family who were able to help us get it installed correctly.

Early days, but so far so good.

This check valve seems sturdy and reliable with a sturdy flap hinge and spring to positively seat the flap when closed. Purchased to replace an inferior check valve that came with my Utility Sink pump from Everbilt that did not seal well and allowed standing water to pass back into the pump, triggering the pump's water sensor and putting it into a constant short-cycle loop that would have destroyed the pump. I love the clear housing allowing you to verify the valve's operation.

Not so silent

Like any other normal brand except this one has a transparent section. Not quiet as claimed. Overall ok nothing great.

Elimnated Water Hamner

I replaced an inexpensive check valve with this one. My sump pump is under my bedroom. Every time the pump cycled off, I heard the water hammer noise. Once the Zoeller valve was installled, the water hammer was gone. Now I only hear the pump. Easy installation. It was longer than the old one, so I cutvthe PVC pipe with a wood saw and slid the fittings over the exposed pipe ends.

Works well and easy to install

This was easy to install and came with both couplings. It is very quiet which is nice but I used to be able to tell that my sump pump was working from upstairs as I could hear the previous check valve "clunk" so now I just have to trust. I also like that it is clear and that I can see it working if desired but I can also monitor the color of the water in the valve and know that I need to clean the crock occasionally.
