It's quiet

Unit is heavy duty and should last, it is also very quiet. It did drip a little from the top, you may have tighten it just right.

Quiet and works great.

The housing is made of clear durable plastic and you can see how the valve is operating. The valve is very quiet and will operate either vertical or horizontal. All in all it’s a winner.

Wish I knew sooner

This valve saved my days and nights from that horrible knocking sound my pipes were making. So quiet now I can’t tell if my pump is actually working. The only thing I didn’t like were the clamps, you had to really crank down on them to get the leaking to stop and even then there’s still a small leak but it’s definitely worth it.

If you order online, at pickup, inspect everything

This is a problem with the Lowes employee who picked & bagged this item. Fortunately I opened the bag of parts to inspect everything before I drove 35 minutes home. The top rubber sleeve and 2 hose clamps were missing. I went to plumbing to find a display with this item. HOW CAN SOMEONE NOT REALIZE THAT 1/3 OF THE ITEM WAS MISSING!!!!

Good fit, works well

This check valve has a nice, long flexible tube on each end, long enough to securely attach to the PVC connections. I like the clear Plexiglas around the valve - it enables me to see the valve in action. The installation went without a hitch and the valve works well.

Leaked from seals, gave it 2x tries.

I liked the idea of a see through valve. Every time I see water rising to unusual levels in my sump pit, I always feel the PVC pipe to see if the water is flowing first. This has to be the quietest check valve I have purchased. Tried others and consistently all had water hammer. Definitely would recommend. Easy installation

Absolutely awesome product!

We installed a new sump pump and a new check valve that was loud. While running every 20 seconds overnight meant we didn't sleep much. I found this product, installed it the next day, and it's as quiet as a mouse. Absolutely night and day difference, just awesome.
