Wish I replaced my brass check valve sooner! Only one day in, but no more hammer sound! Easy to install.

Zoeller Plastic Check Valve

I've been living with the booming noise of my sump pump for years. I didn't know about quiet check valves. This one is very quiet and so far works great. No more booming and my nephew said it was easy to install it only required a flat head screwdriver and a hacksaw to cut off a little excess pvc pipe. I'm very happy.

for years I've put up with the constant banging of my old check valves but at least I knew that my sump pump was working. I installed this check valve and it is so very quiet that now I worry that it is still working. Just kidding. I really like it.

SILENT and it just works

My sump discharge has an 8' vertical run to the outside, and I've always had "clunking" issues whenever the pump stops. I have had this product for several weeks now and it is living up to it’s quiet operation marketing. I replaced my basement watchdog Clunkless valves which failed after 2 yrs. with the Zoeller. I have had two basement watchdog check valves which did not live up to its clunkless operation hype. I hope this Zoeller valve works better.

Zoeller Check Valve

I use to listen to our sump pump go off every couple minutes during wet times and then hear an echo in the gutter drains for about 5-10 seconds that it is tied in to. The pump is directly below our master bedroom. quiet check valve

this check valve has improved the quality of my life. the hammering sound every time the sump pump shut off was so loud throughout the house. now I don't even hear it. I wish I purchased this years ago.

No more hammer!

We built our home 3 years ago. The plummer installed a regular check valve on the sump pump and it produced an unbelievably loud hammer noise when the pump stopped. It was annoying since the sump pump was in the basement under our bedroom. I just found out about the Zoeller check valve and installation took about 10 minutes tops. When the sump pump stops, there is NO NOISE at all. The Zoeller check valve certainly works exactly like it is supposed to! Glad I purchased it!

Just tighten the clamps and your done. Couldn't be easier.

What a difference

It's hard to believe what a difference this check value makes. I installed a batter backup sump pump and originally purchase a cheap check value. What a mistake, it's hard to describe how loud a cheap check value is, but you do not want one. The Zoeller check value is a few bucks more plus I had to have it shipped to my local Lowes but it was worth it. Now we sleep during the night instead of being remined that the pump just turned off (over and over during the night).
