Works well and easy to install

This was easy to install and came with both couplings. It is very quiet which is nice but I used to be able to tell that my sump pump was working from upstairs as I could hear the previous check valve "clunk" so now I just have to trust. I also like that it is clear and that I can see it working if desired but I can also monitor the color of the water in the valve and know that I need to clean the crock occasionally.

Works very well

I purchased this Zoeller check valve after getting tired of hearing the thud of my older Zoeller check valve when my sump pump shut off. I've had this installed for two days now and all I hear how is the humming of the pump itself and when the pump shuts off I hear nothing - silence! No more annoying thud/thump and I like that you can see the flap inside and the water running when the pump is on so you know it is working properly. Great product that does what it says it will do.

Absolutely worth the price

Totally silent. I now longer know when my sump pump is running unless I'm in the room with it. Also, the water hammer effect is totally gone and there is less stress being put on my sump pump plumbing. I should have installed this the week we moved into our new home.

A perfect purchase

It's great - very quiet. Glad I purchased it along with a new sunk pump. My old Zoeller was purchased in 1983 and was still working great. Just old and rusty.

Great check valve

Hello, replaced old check valve with a Zoeller check valve and it worked out great. Just recheck when tightening down to prevent leaking.

No more banging

I bought a check valve that screwed directly to the sump pump. Extremely loud banging due to water hammer. Was hesitant that this check valve wouldn't solve my problem. It stopped the banging you can't hear anything at all.

The check cost more but well worth the extra cost

Easy to install and fixed my problem with my pool pump losing prime, it’s was worth the extra cost of others. Plus with the clear casing I can see the water flow

Quiet and easy diagnose future failures.

As a new homeowner I had no idea what a check vavle was so I thought the bit of water back flowing was normal. But when I was doing some reasearch I learned that it is a problem and can lead to larger sumpump issues. I decided to go with this product because of the clear section that shows you it is actually doing its job. And it will be noticable when the vavle is no longer working.

Bang noise is gone with this new check valve. The clear valve let you see if anything is wrong inside. Happy to buy this product after read reviews. Easy to replace.

Top of the line check valve

A check valve either works or it doesn't. So far, this one works. The clear plastic is a cool touch (although probably unnecessary).
