Would Not RecommendThis would not even locate any stud. Put new battery in it, still garbage. Tried on different walls in the house never located anything. Save your money or just buy a better unit. Based on all the bad reviews shame on zircon for continuing to sell this.

My old stud finder stopped working and I bought this one as a replacement. I installed a new, fresh battery and used it on an interior 1/2 inch drywall. The results were disappointing; very unreliable; gives false indications sometimes and misses known studs other times. Don't waste money on this product; research and find a better quality tool.
