Would Not RecommendThe insert was too big for a 5/8" hose. I found that out after cutting off the old female end of the hose. It was the last female hose mender they had, too. Very annoying.

Would RecommendIt was difficult to fit into ny hose. Used a cup of boiling water to make the hose more plyable and with a couple shoved I was able to insert it. Tightened very easy and doesn’t leak at all.
