Great product with plenty of advance features - very bad battery life

Everything is amazing about this lock, but the battery life. In few months I have gone thru 3-4 sets of batteries. All drained quickly. The balance of the features to the use of battery is something to consider, but overall good product.

Easy installation and access code setup

Pros. *The lock is super easy to install to the door. It fits perfectly with the hole the previous deadbolt lock left behind. *You can set up the key pad with access codes or use the key to lock and unlock. Setting up the keypad codes is super easy as well. Cons. *The app is poorly designed. Does not always work. Good thing you don't need the app unless you want to lock and unlock remotely. Works great! Easy to install and easy to hook up. I love that my front door unlocks as I walk up to the door!

Works as described, very useful. Full access through app and updates through real time notifications. WiFi connection was tricky part but no issue once connected.

Excellent value and reasonable installation

I had no problems installing the lock or setting up PINs for users. Lock works very well and integrated seamlessly with my home automation.

So far so good

I bought this for our new home to reinforce security and so far we've had a good experience with this product. Though, we have iPhones and yet we haven't figure out how to pair the lock's app with Home app.

Requires tight installation specifications

These locks are a dream come true for somebody like me who forgets their keys. I installed the lock and took extra time to make sure that the bolt closed easily. This is essential for this lock to perform correctly or the bolt will jam while closing and the lock will enter an endless cycle of opening and closing in an attempt to seat the deadbolt. It works as advertised

We use Google home instead of Alexa but it integrated perfectly. Kids love it as they don't have to worry about losing their key and I can unlock the door with voice command when I get home with groceries. So I don't have to get keys out or punch in code. So far it is an all around solid product.

Great smart lock with keypad, physical key, wifi or bluetooth controls, and Alexa/google assistant integrations. Exactly what we needed.

Feature Loaded Lock

I bought this for my daughter and her husband as a Christmas gift. I installed the lock for them and as installations go, it was pretty easy. Nice features that go way beyond your typical Wi-Fi door lock. It’s a little pricey, but it has the features they wanted. The key feature is unlocking the door just by it’s sensing your presence close to the door by using your cell phone.

Works well, easy install, directions good except where the smart module was concerned

This smart lock seems to be well made, and fit well into my existing front door opening. The instructions are good, but there is a big missing piece having to do with the August smart module, connecting it to the lock, bluetooth and wifi. I figured it out, but it was a bit trial and error. The menus to do this are in the software, but kind of hidden and no instructions to lead you through it. Otherwise, so far this lock is solid and works well.

Really nice lock - Terrible August automation.

The lock is an easy install and works great. I purchased this lock to replace a similar smart lock from Schlage that lasted less than a year. The install was quick and easy and the lock functions well. As others mentioned, the August network bridge is absolute JUNK! Great Lock!!! East to physically install but a little more difficult to setup the smart features!

This lock works great. It unlocks/locks automatically, works remotely with Amazon Alexa and tells me whether the door is open or closed (via door sense). The lock itself is solid feeling (metal and plastic but not cheap feeling). It was simple to install the lock physically, but it was a bit more difficult pairing it with Alexa and my phone. Great smart lock, but going through batteries fast

I am happy, but not ecstatic, about the Yale Assure Lock. Great looking, plenty of features, smart integration, but in my case going through the batteries faster than expected. So far I've changed the batteries three times. I will admit that the last group of batteries were rechargeable ones and they were last recharged several weeks ago, so they might have not been at 100% at the time of installation. On the other hand, after installing them they lasted for only 2 days. Maybe it was a fluke. ...
