Easy to install and to configure highly recommended. I feel more secure now knowing my home is physically locked when I'm away.

Great lock

Have 2 of theses locks. Is WiFi but still requires August hub for WiFi. Works with WiFi & Bluetooth. Have both Yale & August app. Don’t know if both are needed as they seem to be the same. Nothing I could find in instructions about apps. Also neithev app provides battery life reading. Have to use Alexa to obtain. Yale is the only lock I will use for remote format. They are great

I like it, so smart

This has been a great investment. It’s nice when I’m busy upstairs and can’t remotely unlock the door with my phone or Alexa. My only complaint is the app doesn’t update soon enough-somedays I’ve checked the app for when my wife has unlocked/locked the door and it won’t show at that time even though the door has been opened.

No more keys!

It doesn’t like it when temps drop below freezing and be sure deadbolt locks smoothly, any resistance confuses the calibration and makes august app useless til you pull the battery. Other than it works as intended

Must have for Airbnb

Really like that it links with Airbnb it automatically sends guest the code for there stay once they book instantly and makes there code only good for the time of there stay no worrying about changing the code once a guest leaves or making sure to give them a code before they come. Plus you can have your admin. code and others if you need that are permanent for cleaning crew or exterminators etc..

Super Easy to Mount Lock into Door

This lock has much better action than our previous Homekit Lock. Also, note the Key is Kwikset so we were able to key alike all our locks using the Yale Key as the master. It works with Homekit and I can now also ask Alexa if my door is locked/unlocked and she can tell. Setting up the wifi part was a bit confusing, there is a step where you take out batteries, then insert the module. Then you have to go front panel, enter setup mode via your master PIN, then hit #7 to activate the module. AFTE...

Great wireless/digital/key lock combo!!

This is a great lock once setup. It was difficult getting the wireless hub setup as there were no instructions for that price of it. But I’m pretty tech literate so I was able to figure it out. Works and looks great. Integration with their app works great and better if you install the provided magnet. It can tell you if the door is open or closed, locked or unlocked. Alexa works seamless with it also. Great product so far for us. Can’t talk about the longevity yet.

i Love it. i already have two in my Airbnbs apartments. best purchase ever. it works great and works integrated with Arbnb app so it is a piece of mind. highly recommended

Yale Lock Touch Screen

This lock is pretty amazing over all. Easy to install and comes with step by step manual on how to add and remove key codes. I use this for an investment rental property. No more making new keys when bad tenants move out. You just have to remove their key code access. I use this with the Ring door bell to give me that extra piece of mind. With or without alexa is all good.

I use this stand alone with no Alexa. Wifi connection allows remote administration of lock. Bought it for the Geo fencing hands free auto unlock which works flawlessly as long as your phone Bluetooth is on. Setup was a bit wonky. App Kept failing to find lock. Good smart lock that’s half baked

It’s a good smart lock - for the most part it functions as expected but the whole August + Yale story is like siblings with different parents who parent way different. I bought this for the Ring security integration only to find out this version doesn’t work with it - despite a PR saying in 2019 it’s on the way. Only the zwave model works and that doesn’t work with August. Since it’s WiFi connected you would think a web hook call to august would be all that’s needed but can’t find any service...

Installed easily

Almost returned this but glad I didn’t. Installed easily and setup to automatically lock. Now feel much more secure.

Works with Apple HomeKit or Alexa Or if you like the Yale or August app it’s really up to your preference. The install and WiFi connection was easy. Before connecting to Apple home kit get the connect code off the back of the august device. Don’t wait till you screw the back up then you would have to open it again.
