Learning curve but worth it!!

Love this lock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this Yale Wi-Fi keypad to review complimentary via Influenster. We are loving the safety and convenience this lock provides. Installation was quick and easy. The app makes locking and unlocking your door a breeze and you can be reassured when away from home that you did in fact lock the door. I love the design with the satin nickel accents.

Awesome

We installed it on our side garage door and now I know exactly when my kid gets home from school due to the notifications. It was fairly easy to install. Took maybe an hour.

Very useful

Technology Fail

Huge improvement

Easy to install and use!

Convenient but do I trust it?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seemed like it would be easier to install and will be a pain with intermittent WiFi outages - we used it on our condo that has frequent new visitors. I might sound old school but if people can hack baby monitors it scares me that it may be easy to open the front door. Like it or not, Technology is moving forward!

Recommended IF you are patient

The good: the lock is solid. The buttons have perfect tactile response. The flat black looks amazing. AND you have a key for backup. The not-so-good: The lock CONTINUALLY loses contact with the wifi and also with itself. It still works with bluetooth so you are not locked out (and remember you also have a key), but you have to do a whole thing when it loses itself - removing batteries, etc. to make it work properly again. Final: if you are patient and can handle small tech repairs, it's fine...

Excellent lock
