First of all, I have no love for any product that takes something simple and reliable like a lock & key and turns it into a failure liability by adding electronics and battery power. Use with Wifi module for remote control. Good lock

We use these type of locks on our rental properties and are very pleased. We have had trouble with some of them but for the most part they are great. We added the wifi module so we can remote control it. I do not recommend adding the z-wave module for which you also need to add a hub. They are nothing but trouble. VERY difficult to get them to connect to each other and they often lose connection. Best to get wifi instead.

Great Lock!

We've been wanting to get a keypad lock for a while, but couldn't find the right one. This is it, both in appearance and function. It is sleek looking. I love that the numbers don't appear until you wake it up. It also doesn't take up a ton of space on the door like many others do. Easy to use smart lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using this lock and not having to grab my keys when I want to go out for a walk or run a quick errand. The set up was fairly easy without any major issues.

Great lock

Had lock install by locksmith take him about 30 minutes to complete. You need to install Yale access app to use lock. I like that when you lock the door it’s makes the Apple charger noise. I recommend this product.

Frustrating

I bought this to replace a schlage that stopped working after many years. I wanted one that operated similar to the Schlage. This one is close. I don't care about wifi or Bluetooth. I just wanted one that I could enter my code and it would unlock or hit a button on the keypad and it would lock. Unfortunately you have to download an app and create an account just to use it. $180.00. A lot of money just for a deadbolt. Bought one, went back for two more!

After a few days of research, we bought the Assure Lock 2 in Black Suede. It's such a convenience to not have to search for keys and it's beautiful. The black suede is mat and goes perfect with our decor. Love, love , love it! We returned and bought 2 more. Bonus, you can set it to lock after a few minutes so it's a great safety measure and you never get locked out of your home.

Nice Features for a Lock that Just Doesn't Work

It has a feature where it uses the app on your Smart Phone to detect when you're in the driveway and unlocks the door automatically. Too bad the weak little motor just doesn't have enough strength to push the latch all the way out or to retract it. And the scary part is that it appears to be locked but unless it detects the latch is all the way out, it is not acting like a deadbolt and the latch can be pushed back in using a plastic picnic knife.
