Durable and easy to use.

Item is of good quality. I’ve used it to put an edge back on various cutting utensils and find it to be durable and simple to use. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a similar tool.

Handy compact field sharpener.

I received the Workshop Guided Field Sharpener for evaluation last week. After downloading the very informative QR coded demo I tried to sharpen a pocket knife. There are two diamond imbeded steel plates available, one coarse and one fine. I laid my blade against the angle guide on the fine plate taking four strokes on each side before proceeding to the fine ceramic round stone and then leather hone. Easy to use

Ordered this as it said it could sharpen multiple blade types. Was able to use on our "fancy" knife as well as a serrated knife. Only tricky thing with this is understanding where the instructions are stored (when the packaging said instructions inside I originally thought inside the packaging but they were inside the sharpener).

Easily the best sharpener I own. Love the small size, makes it super easy to toss in a day pack of the door panel of a truck and go. Brings my blades to a razor sharp edge every time.

Handy field sharpener for knives, axes &broadheads

This will be a great addition to my supply bag that I keep in my tree stand. A welcome tool for hunters, anglers, and campers. I received this sharpener today and tried in on various items around the house to test it out, it did not disappoint. The main guides for sharpening are set at 20 degrees, basically you just maintain that same angle along the knife’s path. Excellant Sharpener!

To say the least, I was very surprised with the quality of this knife sharpener. I have used it on kitchen knives, pocket knifes, & hunting knives. It has everything you need to put a quality edge on any knife. You can even sharpen your fish hooks on the ceramic stone by just turning the dial. It even has a compartment to store hooks or something small that you may need.

Great portable and quick sharpener.

Nice portable quick knife sharpener. Really like the angle guides on all the different sharpening surfaces. Sharpened my pocket knife that I carry regularly. Sharpener did a good job but not as sharp as the stones I usually use. Sharpened several kitchen knives that really needed it. Most of them required the course sharpener to remove rough areas and then the finer sharpeners to finish. Very good results on the kitchen knives. Handy tool that helps sharpen all kinds of edges.

I have a large collection of oilstones but never had a good touch for sharpening. The built-in guides make the job much easier. A wide range of grit results in a fine, sharp edge on any type of blade. my initial disappointment that the guides didn't move was relieved by the final result. It's best to watch the 12-minute video on their website for tips, and to learn that the instructions and wrenches are hidden inside under the diamond hones.

New way to sharpen knives

I have always used a stone to sharpen my knives in the past and was wary about how well this would work. I am a believer now. This is very easy to use for knives and hatchets too. Two different sanding levels. Standard and fine. Sharpen on the standard side first and then flip it over for fine finish.

Blade sharpener

I have never had a tool which could sharpen any type of blade. We recycle a lot of cardboard. We use a small cutting blade, the type you break off the worn blade, then feed up a new edge. Our issue was heavier cardboard and cutting it to fit in the recycling bin. I must say the edge we were able to get on the blade was fantastic. We were able to cut through heavier cardboard with relative ease.

This knife sharpener is very handy not only for for your knive and varios knifes but will also sharpen scissors and is small and compact to have in pocket or carry in a bag for when you may be outside or hiking. Ver useful and handy to have available

This is a great knife sharpener. Compact design and useful tool. Nothing to replace as with those auto sharpeners that need costly belt replacement. Sharpener has two sides, a coarse side and a smooth side. Both have built in 20 degree starting wedge to sharpen the blade. It does what it's supossed to

So far so good. We have a few knives we tried it out on and did a great job. The grip on the sharpener is big enough for your hands for a nice grip. Easy to use. We are happy with it and will continue to use it.

A nice handy tool to have around.

This knife sharpening tool is great to have. It can be taken anywhere. The diamond coated plates make for a very sharp blade. Sharpen anywhere, anytime with this handy tool.

Pretty decent sharpener

The sharpener has has several features. From fine sharpening to a grain sharpening. This even has a buffer to help smooth and shine the blade or scissors in which you are sharpening. Overall this is a pretty good sharpener. With all the features A+ product.

Portable sharpener

Love this! I use this for some of my knifes and tools and my husband even used it for some fishing items. Versatile use and lightweight. Good size if you wanted to pack it. Product comes pre assembled so it’s ready for use right out of the package which is great. This tool got our items very sharp!

Very adequate sharpener

This sharpener works really well for small blades. The diamond panels easily remove for cleaning. The guide was not very useful to me because my knives did not match that angle. However, it would be very handy for a beginner. The leather strop came pre-impregnated with rubbing compound. I used it on my everyday carry and it did a wonderful job. I do wish that it was a little bit longer so I could use it on most standard knife sizes. It's just lacking a little bit of range. It's great for blades...

Great Sharpener

I tried it out when it arrived and it was very easy to use. At this point it is an almost daily used tool. I keep it right by my kitchen knives. This thing works and is very easy to use.

Nifty litte sharper

This product works very good for sharpening knives. It flips over stones to have different grains of coarsness and to be able to get a very sharp edge on a blade.
