Ist time Impeller User

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After extensive reviewing, I decided to try an impeller washer; the former unit had an agitator. It washes fine, no issues with clothes not being clean. Comparing the 2, I think I prefer a washer with an agitator. You don't have to be so picky on how to load it. Delivery and customer service were excellent.

It was a gift for a church member recovering from surgery. I understand that she is very happy with the machine and it was a much needed item to help her during medical burdens.

Only missing one star because I think I would have preferred getting one with the agitator instead now that I understand the science behind an impeller washer and how we need to place out clothes as a doughnut instead of dropping it in the middle as you would naturally do to get the best efficiency of the wash.

Loved the GE machine, but even though it had a 10 year motor warranty, the barrel rusted out underneath the impeller four years in, which means it was a crappy design. My landlord purchased this whirlpool top load impeller washer to replace it and get it installed in a couple of days so I wasn’t without laundry. Instructions would be helpful

I am enjoying the much larger capacity but am very frustrated with the lack of instructions- in print and online. I have no idea what some buttons do. The store employee Googled my questions and still couldn’t answer them. Frustrating.

Doesn't wash well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does not wash all the clothes well. No!, I didn't over stuff the washer. No!, it wasn't under water level, I even used the Deep water cycle. Some clothes still come out spotted dry areas.

Poor excuse for a washer

Worst washer ever !! who’s bright idea was it to not have a dispenser for liquid fabric softener who stands there waiting for the rinse cycle to add it ….no one ever!! Get better design and give what we need ! Never again will I purchase this brand.

Whirlpool washer

I was disappointed in the quality of the washer. My old whirlpool washer was a much better product ; and much quieter! It takes forever to do a load, there’s no timer to let you know when it’s finishing. There are no dispensers for the detergent or the softener. Also, no chime to let you know it has finished. I wished I had tried to get my old one fixed. Very disappointed; all of my appliances are Whirlpool. Cynthia Walker

Great disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No one seems to be able to tell me how to use it. Your staff showed me the manual which only tells me how to install it. Can’t seem to figure out what high deep water is used for no what I use the faucet for. When I tried using the faucet and put soap in there when I lifted the cover it all drained out. I keep wasting the tide pads when touching the shut off because everything drains off. Doesn’t seem like I can add something after it starts. ...
