Ratings & Reviews for Whirlpool Impeller Large ( 4.6-cu ft ) Top-Load Washer ( White )
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The Whirlpool top-loading washer offers a mix of positive and negative features. Customers are generally satisfied with its capacity, cleaning performance, and energy efficiency. However, some have reported issues with excessive noise, vibration, and balance problems, especially when washing larger loads. The lack of a fabric softener dispenser and long wash cycle times have also been noted as drawbacks by some users. Overall, the washer appears to be a decent basic model that meets the needs of many customers, but may not live up to the brand's reputation for quality and durability.

Non-existent Owners Manual
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is nice, however your 2 page "Owners Manual" is pathetic -- it is actually one piece of paper printed on both sides!!. Your washer replaced a Samsung product that had an ACTUAL 12 page manual. Here's what is important: List all nine fabric options -- Jeans, Heavy Duty, Whites, Colors, Quick Wash, Active Wear, Delicates, Bulky Items, Towels. Then with three columns after each item, show the TIME the selection takes, the WATER USAG...

Great Washer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great replacement for my old washer! Seems that at the end of the cycle, more water has been removed from the items, making for more efficient drying... yay!

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is ok. It is loud and doesn't have very good instructions on how to use. Does not have a tray to put in the laundry soap and softner. A little disappointed but, it still cleans the clothes.

Machine won't last much more than a year
Would Not RecommendI purchased this same machine 14 months ago and it stopped working. It was easier to just buy another one, than to pay a repairman and wait for parts. Whirlpool products should last more than a year!

DO NOT PURCHASE-LOUD AND WILL NOT BALANCE
Would Not RecommendThis washer is terrible. It's the loudest appliance I've ever owned and it will not wash even a single king-size sheet without shaking violently. I have a video on YouTube, but the Lowes website won't accept the URL. Just search for videos with this model number and it will show up.
Cleans exceptionally well!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer new a few weeks ago and we're very pleased with it. It's very quick and efficient and pretty quiet too. I would definitely recommend this appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with the dryer the washer does not have a time display to know how long it has to go.

Good Washer, Minor Complaints.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only owned this washer for about 2 weeks, but I am pretty well satisfied with it, it gets the clothes clean like a washer should. I do have some complaints though. For starters, it is needlessly complicated, and does not have an owner's manual. I should not have to refer to the internet to figure it out. The "slow close" and locking lid is a pain. I have been doing my own laundry for 60 years (since I was eight), and have never slammed the...
