Easy to install

This filter was apparently sold and returned by a previous customer. Then the box was retaped and resold to me. I opend the box to find two bags inside were torn open and a part was missing. So I had to return to the store where I spent another $20.00 to complete the instillation,

Excellent filter system

I have had this filter system for almost two years. We have a well that has high iron and lime content at 27 ppm with a whole house filter and softener that reduces the levels to 4 ppm. The reverse osmosis filter gives us clean and clear water, when tested it was less than 1 ppm. The filters last us about a year as we are at the point that we need to perform our second filter change. Good Product with misgivings

This was a exact replacement for a unit that we had for 4 years. The old one started leaking from the faucet and was rusted. Decided to get a new unit rather than just replace the faucet. Put this one in and it leaked from the faucet. The hoses have to be cut EXACTLY like the directions say, and routed the same. Still is leaking a little when the tank refills, but am adjusting the connections daily.

Leaked from the start

I had a plumber come to professionally install this, his first issue was that none of the hoses were attached to the faucet. It leaked because of this so I returned it and had the plumber purchase a different one that he recommended.

Removed the Nitrates in our water!

No where on the box or in store did it say anything about Nitrate Removal. I had to do a lot of research and eventually found that yes, this RO system should remove Nitrates. Once installed, tested the water and for us, there was no longer any Nitrates. Finally after all this time, we can now drink our water! The only draw backs on the system is the cheap, dinky and bulky faucet. Mostly plastic, don't care for another expense every 6 mo. replacing the battery for the timer, and took way too muc...

Leaves a bad taste in your mouth - after it breaks

This filter worked well for about three years, then it started to leak. A quick internet search revealed that the cause of the leak - a broken diaphragm - is a common problem and a relatively easy fix. The hard part about the fix is swallowing the $60 replacement fee for a few small pieces of plastic and rubber. If you buy this filter, save this part number: 7333179. Great filter

We had this system in our old house and just purchased a new one for the home we just moved in to. Filters are a tad expensive, but the quality and taste of the water seems better after it goes through the system.

Great product

Everything works just like it should. My only frustration is that you the line size is odd so a normal splitter (in my case using it over the sink and for the fridge water and ice machine) line does not work with it. I was informed by my plumber that the tank size would need to be larger if I wanted to make ice and use it for drinking.

good tasting water

Installed this as a remote system in the crawl space.Hooked up the waste into my condensate pump for the furnace. hooked up the clean water line direct to the refrigerator water line. easy to install. no problems. Just remember to replace the RO filter yearly and the pre filter every 6 months. put this one in my rental, i have one installed in my home for 5 years and no problems at all.

Cheap Junk

I installed this product three weeks ago. Faucet is very cheap and water leaks intermittently from weep hole in side. Woke up one morning to gallons of water in my floor and a damaged countertop. Double checked all connections and followed troubleshooting guide to no avail. You get what you pay for. The first unit I got didn't even last two years. Since I've already purchased the filters for the existing unit I decided to replace it with the same brand and model. A bad choice the unit keeps on discharging water through the drain non stop. I contacted the manufacturer's help desk and I was informed that this is how the filter works. I recently installed one of these for my land lady, who lives in a retirement community. Because there was no pre-existing hole for a sprayer, with the property management's permisiion, I had to change out the faucet assembly with one that has the sprayer built-in the assembly to be able to install the faucet for the R/O unit. Excellent Value

I just moved to Kingsland, Georgia. The water smells like sulphur and doesn't taste much better. I installed this in my kitchen sink. The water is excellent. Three Strikes and You Are OUT

Very loud, always something leaking...always a problem. Replacement filters expensive compared to other systems. I have had three of these. Why? 1st onebroke, 2nd one..Was cheaper to buy a new unit than replace filters....The third one is going out in the trash soon to be replaced by a better product...bad membrane. When it worked the water was fantastic. The system requires more maintenance that the B1 bomber.

Best purchase we have made for our home.

I was so surprised how wonderful this filter really is. It has made an unbelievable difference in our water. I was constantly having to buy bottled water, now, I can save that money. My husband is so happy with my iced tea now.. He says it is just the best. If you have any doubts, go for it.

Fourth one purchased for family members' homes

Have one in my home all through my children's home and my rental home love them I would recommend Lowe's installation or a good plumber They are not difficult to install but I don't like working on my back under a sink

Now have 2 of these, one for each home. Easy to install and produced great quality water. Great price too for a RO system.. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Works Great

I live in Alaska and have extremely hard water. I run the water thru a filter, water softener and then to this R.O. I could never drink the water before and now I prefer it over bottled water. The only reason for the Average rating on VALUE is that the unit cost $160.00. Your looking at close to $80 - $90.00 to replace the filters 1 time. If they could drop the prices of the filters it would be great. Figure you change the filters a 2 or 3 times and you could buy a complete new system. My faucet...
