Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The water filter system provides great-tasting, clean water, but some customers have experienced issues with leaks and poor quality components. While the system is generally easy to install, there are reports of the faucet and other parts being prone to breaking or malfunctioning, leading to water damage. Customers who have had the system working properly are satisfied with the water quality, but the high rate of reliability and durability issues is a significant concern.

Would Not RecommendPurchased this system and after about one year I had the same problem others have commented about. It cracked around the yellow tube connection for no reason. Very poorly made. Wasted money on this.

How I use your product
It’s just right for under sink mount. It’s made for small family. I use mainly for drinking water. Wish I had a bigger unit but have limited space.

Well Designed
Would RecommendAfter 12 years doing 1st internal maintenance on diaphragm & water logged bladder tank. I grew up on well water and should have kept an eye on tank, pressure is so low normally that we never noticed it going to near zero. The quality of ice cubes cubes proves it all. Just try making ice cubes the old fashion way with tap water; then with RO water. Let both melt and look at all the sediment from the tap water. Coffee maker stays clean also. Keep in mind this is 12 years old! For those who hav...

Really good system
Would RecommendPurchased the Whirlpool R.O. system a month or so ago. I already had one before and liked it. This new one was just a good getting started, easy to install and went right to work. If I get another 11 years out of this one like the last, will be very pleased to get another.

Excellent design.
Would RecommendIn use for 8 years. Great way to improve city water which comes from very deep wells. Paid for itself many times over. We use more water than most due to aquariums. Paying for water by the pint is crazy. Ice cubes are far superior with this system than a single filter.

Does a good job of water improvement - But
Would RecommendI have used this unit for about 5 years and have generally been satisfied with its performance. I disabled the timer in the water head as being unnecessary. I was out of town for a few month and upon return this week I found the unit was leaking under the sink Seems like at least one of the hose connecters has decided to leak and I have not been able to get it to re-seal around the tubing.

Continual water flow down the drain even after tur
Would Not RecommendHello, I recently installed a WHER25 RO drinking water system, and each time I use the system, I can hear what sounds like 'water continuously flowing down the drain' for at least 10 minutes even after I turn off the RO faucet. Thus, I cleaned the water tank and reset the bladder to 5~7psi following some common advice from the internet, but the issue still persists. I don’t think my problem is unique, because two of my neighbors who recommended me to buy this brand are also facing the same...

VERY SATISFIED
Would RecommendI was surprised to read so many negative reviews. I have had this system for the last 13 years and never had a problem with it. It is easy to replace the filters and for the cost, this is the best reverse osmosis system I could find.

Terrible leaks after 1.5 years of use
Would Not RecommendWe installed this system 1.5 years ago after a full kitchen remodel. LOVED having filtered water on tap. A couple of months ago I found our entire cabinet under our sink completely flooded. Finally identified the leak as coming from this RO system. The plastic part where our yellow tubbing connects is cracked. It looks identical to the pictures other reviewers have posted.
