I bought this 3 weeks ago and I love it. It does a better job than my old Maytag.

Great on Stains

I have been amazed at the effective job the steam feature plays in stain removal on my cotton shirts. Past cleaning has required additional pre treatment to remove these food and grease stains. I was pleasantly surprised when my wife washed and dried them with a load of other clothes and they were clean as new.

Very nice washer

I purchased this washer about a month ago and I am really happy with it's performance. I like the Load & Go cartridge a lot-what a neat feature. The light does not work on my Add a Garment feauture-that makes me sad, but I would recommend this washer overall.

It's okay but my top load washer was easier!

This is my first front load washer, not impressed, the he detergent packs don't disolve completely so I have to clean up the mess everytime I use it so switched to he liquid detergent and the cartridge that holds the liquid doesn't work so had to remove it and pour the liquid directly where the cartridge sits, that seems to work so far. I like the affresh clean cycle and the other features.

Bought this machine in October, had it for one month, before the computers started going. It has a number of them in the machine, and they have not perfected this one yet!

Laundry made easy!

We are so happy with our new Whirlpool Duet washer. Not only is the washing cycle shorter than our previous Maytag, but also the "Load and Go" feature lets us supply at one time enough detergent for 12 washes. Washing clothes has become easier, which we greatly appreciate.

Great machine

I am very happy that I bought this machine. I am washing for three, soon to be four, little boys, and they are dirty. The laundry is cleaner and in better shape then my previous machine. This really does work great. Great investment.

I love this washer! The different cycles is a huge help. It tells you when to refill the detergent and when the washer needs to be cleaned. I have not used the steam cycle yet but will soon.

this washer is the best we ever owned

the washer is a dream, i can't believe it's running. it is right next to our bedroom and my wife sometimes uses it late after i've gone to bed,and it doesn't bother me at all. not like the last one, where you couldn't watch tv or eat supper.

We bought this about a month ago ,my wife loves it. I hope it lasts longer than the last one, only lasted about 3 1/2 yrs.That was also a whirlpool.

Whirlpool Duet Steam Washer

Great washer. I really love the load & go system, that lets me fill with detergent and then wash multiple loads without worrying about messy fill-ups.

Much Improved Over Past 6 years

Whirpool has made some significant improvements to the Duet line with this model. The 1400 RPM spin speed makes a big difference compared to my old Duet washer (1000 RPM), removes much more water and takes less time to dry. The vibration control is vastly improved with much less washer movement with large loads. We have thoroughly enjoyed the load & go feature! Major selling point. Would definitely recommend. NO more messes from adding detergent with each load!

Love this washer!

I purchased this washer in August. There was a delay in delivery because I ordered the black appliance which was not readily available. However, I'm so glad I waited because I love the color and it fits perfectly in the space I selected. The washer is quiet, uses much less water than my previous machine, and is energy efficient. The clothes come out just damp to the touch which certainly makes the dryer use less energy.
