Would RecommendAfter recently moving to a downtown high rise we needed to upgrade our washing machine and we made an excellent choice with this Whirlpool model. It is quiet, energy efficient and does an excellent job of cleaning the clothes. Couldn't be more pleased. The ventless Whirlpool dryer we purchased with it is also exceptional and both have exceeded our expectations.

this generation a giant leap over top loaders
Would RecommendPurchased in Dec 2014 and after 60 days of experience I am very pleased with the purchase. The size of the drum, the quiet operation and overall cleaning performance are a major improvement my 10 year old top load model. The high speed spin cycle allows clothes to dry much faster - a real energy saver with an electric dryer.

New Wardrobe
Would RecommendAt Last - a washing machine that washes your clothes so well they look and feel like new again. This machine has it all for choice of programes to suit every type of laundry item. My clothes and bedding look sharp again. The delay wash enables me to wash my clothing economically at the lower rate of electricity whilst I sleep. I cannot fault it and I have been through many washing machines, all brands, Whirlpool is the best. The added bonus is it looks so good too, I love it. It has made the tas...

Duet washer/dryer pair
Would RecommendWow! Big difference from our GE top load. Loving it but have to admit the HE models are a different way of washing clothes and I had to give it a chance. When the owner of My Appliance Source said that older top load washers use up to 45 gallons of water vs HE of 19 gallons I had to think responsible. It doesn't make since to waste water and the Duet are very quite, efficient and so far doing a great job cleaning. I have to say I am a convert. I am loving the convince of the Load and go soap des...

Works great, looks great and is very quiet.
Would RecommendWe upgraded to this washer from a 13 year old run-of-the-mill washer and the difference was night and day. This washer uses very little water and cleans our clothes very well. Plus, we can finally wash our king sized comforter without having to take it to the cleaners. This washer is so quiet, without the "done" chime you'd never know it was done. The spin cycle is ridiculous! This thing must spin the speed of a jet engine. It's super fast and gets the clothes nearly dry, so the matching dryer f...

Outstanding Features
Would RecommendThis machine exceeded my expectations. It is extremely quiet and has every washing cycle one would need. The detergent cartridge saves soap and time. I wish there was a cartridge for fabric softener as well.

Large capacity!
Would RecommendThis is my first front loading washer, and I'm amazed at how many clothes the washer can handle per load. It sure speeds up laundry duty. I also really like that the washer senses the size of the load in order to conserve water, and it has an automatic detergent dispenser which is so convenient. It wasn't very hard to figure out how to use the washer, and there are a lot of different options that I still need to explore.

Meet the Jetsons
Would RecommendWow, do we love this new washer/dryer set--it's a cinch to do laundry with all the updated features: We love the interchangeable detergent dispenser cartridges, (we got an extra one to swap in for our athletic gear detergent), and have noticed we're using far less detergent with the automatic dispenser. The Fan Fresh is perfect for those "oops, it's bedtime but I want to wear that tomorrow" moments, the timer readout is helpful, the controls are user-friendly, and we like using the EcoBoost when...

Engineer's angle
Would RecommendI'm a mechanical engineer. My schoolmate designs these washers and I asked him what to get. After he gave me an opinion, I did some of my own research and pulled the trigger. What a remarkable device. I washed my greasy coveralls and work jacket for the first time and they are as clean as new. The machine seems very well built and very intelligent. Remarkably quiet, thanks to the direct drive. It stays in balance and will not shake. Buying online was great and delivery was a breeze. I am a happy...

4.5 cu ft Duet Steam Front Load Washer
Would RecommendI've only had the product for two weeks. The washer does a good job washing and I love the load and go feature. Just put the clothes in, push the power button, push the start button and the machine does the rest. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the advertising states something about it being quiet. It is no quieter than my 12 year old machine -- and maybe louder. I also do not like that it has sounds when the power button and others buttons are pushed.

Whirlpool Front Load Washer
Would RecommendGreat product except after 5 weeks, it had a major internal leak causing major floor damage. Repairman is on the way as we speak.

Easy to operate
Would RecommendWhat a wonderful appliance, for a change! So easy to use. Starting with the detergent dispenser. We can fill it once a week and not mess with detergent again! All the cycles are easily understood and programmed for you.

Manual? Who needs a Manual!?
Would RecommendWe've had this washer for almost two weeks now. Its very intuitive and easy to use. Didn't need to read the manual except to know what two functions meant. ITS extremely simple. The tones the machine makes are smooth and not annoying like an old phone ringing. The washer on spin cycle is the quietest I've ever heard. I LOVE the quick wash feature, if I'm in need of something in under an hour, from wash to dry. The washer is bigger, and the door sticks out farther than the nozzle. Measure and mea...

love it - so many cool features
Would RecommendI love that you don't have to add detergent to this every time you run it. You simply fill up the bulk dispenser and keep doing loads of laundry until it tells you that it needs more. Very nice!I also love the quick-wash feature. This can do a load of laundry in 26 minutes. We use this all the time and the clothes are always clean. This washer is quiet and so far works brilliantly. Love it!

Love this Washer
Would RecommendWe purchased this washer about six weeks ago, and I wanted to wait a while before I reviewed it. I must say, we love this washer! Our clothes come out very clean, and I love the options. We have been burned by other brands, but I would highly recommend this Whirlpool washer.
