Shakes way to much i spin cycle. No adjustment can be made as per serviceman on several visits.

Very good washer; but LONG cycles.

We have 5 children and really put this machine to the test. It does a fine job with whites, jeans, and other loads varying from slightly dirty to - well, sick kids. Within one week of starting to use this I needed the motherboard replaced. Since that was replaced it has worked really well, but is now developing a musty smell. I have tried really hard to keep my washing machine as clean as possible. Worst Purchase Ever!

I purchased this washer eleven months ago. I exchanged it within the first week for another one because it was not working properly. I have had an A&E factory repairman at my house several times over the past months for different problems with this washer. This washer does not use enough water to clean the clothes. Clothes are coming out still smelling bad. I have been running 2 wash cycles with extra rinse cycles on both of them. That is not saving energy if you have to run 2 wash and rinse cyc...

Does not get clothes clean

We've owned the Whirlpool WFW94HEXW for almost 5 months now. It does not get clothes clean, period. The only cycle that comes remotely close to cleaning clothes is the heavy duty cycle and it damages the clothes. This is a low-water use machine that simply does not use enough water to get anything clean in one cycle. Any savings in energy and water are lost by having to run double cycles to get clothes clean. Do not waste your money

I have no problem with Lowes. Only buy this washer if you like to spend money foolishly or you never get your clothes dirty. There are only 2 adults in my house but unless I pretreat every piece I have spots on my clothes even something as simple as dirt. I thought I was buying quality but I was wrong. The matching dryer (my seond one) gives me wrinkled clothes even on steam there seems to be no cool down cycle to speak of. Bought a new whirlpool combo 3 months ago . 2 weeks ago the main bearing went out the machine the repair man says the heating element is also burnt out .The parts are on backorderand I am at the laundrymat after wasting my money on thispoor manufacturing worse customer service , STAY AWAY FROM WHIRLPOOL!!

Poor Durability.

After less than one year, the bearings have gone bad, and will cost $800 to repair. I can purchase another brand for less than the cost of repair to this one! Whirlpool should do something to improve the durability of thier machines .

I am not recommending to buy Whirlpool

We had the washer for year and a half. First, 4 months after the purchase we had to call the service department to replace the dispenser unit. That was for free and you kinda say "well, whatever". A week ago the error F 71 appeared and the machine stopped working. I was able to run it for couple more cycles, and than it died. Greatest Washer Yet

Is even better than the previous duet. Clothes come out much dryer. It takes only 10 to 15 minutes to dry clothes. Uses very little soap and water.

Good washer

Purchased 6 months ago. Gets clothes clean and spins the water out nicely, but had to learn to be careful not to use too much detergent or else an extra rinse cycle is necessary to get all the soap out. Live in very humid Houston, TX and so far no issue with odor. Highly recommend the fan fresh setting - use it on every load just in case I don't get back to the washer right when it's done. Worst Washer EVER!

I bought this washer based on Consumer Reports rating it the best washer out of all they tested. I have only had the washer for a month and a half and it has now broken down on my twice!!! I only do laundry once a week and usually 2-3 loads. So I don't use it as much as most people. I'm just surprised that Whirlpool (a trusted name in home appliances) has made such an awful pile of scrap metal! Love my new washer!

This is an excellent buy. Quiet, clothes come out almost dry, can get my laundry done a lot quicker with all the room, clothes come out really clean. Smell fresh. Haven't had any smell problems so far. I use powder he detergent and leave the door cracked open, use affresh once a month and dry out the detergent dispenser. It's a GREAT buy you won't be dissapointed!

I cannot believe how quiet this washer is!

I cannot believe how quiet this washer is! When I first got it, I had to go into the laundry room to make sure it was running. What I don't like is there are no controls to adjust water height. You can control many other variables.

we purchased this washer and electric dryer pair,love the machines. had issue with delivery and set-up,lowes techs. left cold water fitting loose,got carpet soaked and stained. LOWES MADE GOOD ON REPLACEMENT,ALL IS WELL. THUMBS UP FOR LOWES AND WHIRLPOOL.

Quiet and efficient!

We purchased this washer and it's matching gas dryer last week. They replaced a 12-year old Kenmore top load washer and it's matching gas dryer. We've done 7-8 loads so far and are very impressed. The washer is noticeably quieter and uses less detergent and significantly less water than the top loads.
