Would RecommendAfter looking at many different manufacturers disposal units, I decided to order a Whirlpool. It was as advertised quiet and easy to install even though I would consider myself a novice at these things at 80 years old. It performs flawlessly and is lots quieter than another unit we had before it. I would highly recommend this Whirlpool disposal unit to anyone who is even slightly handy. If I can install it, I'm sure you can too. And the cost savings, is sure to put a smile on your face.

didn't grind food up enough
Would Not RecommendThis disposal did not work for us. Down the line away from the sink, we have old plumbing with a 90 degree angle. This disposal processed the food too quickly and did not grind it up enough. We had to uplug our plumbing twice after installing it. We switched to another brand and have had no problems at all.

Would RecommendHave a good experience with Whirlpool products with a washer and dryer over twenty years old and no problems with either. Easy disposer installation, quiet and very effective. Would buy another Whirlpool product in a heartbeat.

Direct Replacement makes it much easier!
Would RecommendI bought this as a direct replacement after my old one started leaking. It lasted 15 years so I had no complaints with the old one. As I was replacing the exact same model, it only took about 30 minutes to complete. I left the original collar on the sink so it was just a matter removing the electrical, disconnecting the drain pipe and dishwasher hose and twisting off the old one and putting on the new one. So far, no complaints. Works well and the price is reasonable.

Would RecommendWe bought this a year ago. My hubby did alot of research into what we wanted in a range. There is only the 2 of us so the small upper oven comes in very handy. On the holidays it's great because I have room to use both ovens. The stovetopss have different heat settings and they can boil water for pasta really quickly. The stovetop is a little difficul to keep shiny.
