I am still learning how to use the different options that are available on this oven. However, everything that I have tried to use so far, has performed perfectly. I am even happy with the stove top because it is able to handle large heavy pans without marking th surface. I have also baked very successfully in both ovens. Good so far but not much sound insulation

I needed a disposal that was less than 12 inches and was replacing a very quiet 1/2 hp that I loved. There are not very many disposals out there that fit my requirements so I special ordered this one. It works fine and did fit in my small space but it is not very quiet. My kitchen is in an open area with the family sitting area and tv so sound insulation was an important feature to us. Newly Installed

I have had this disposal installed for roughly 2 weeks. It is much more quiet then my Badger 2 which was only 1/3 HP. I have sent chicken bones, peelings and other foods down the disposer. It has performed very well and I am very pleased with it's performance so far. I installed the unit myself and had to make a few plumbing modifications, but it went in very easily. Definitely would recommend this product to friends and family.

whirlpool garbage disposal

I purchased the same brand and model as the previous disposal which lasted 11 years. I installed it myself and it took about an hour and fifteen minutes total to remove old unit, clean p-trap and install the new unit.

Cracked Housing

My GC2000X worked as expected for just 2 years. Then while searching for the source of water under the sink, I discovered several cracks in the grind chamber housing. When I filled the sink with water and cranked up the disposer, it became something very like a feature at a kids' waterpark but much less fun. Great Features- Smaller Top oven saves energy

This range has excellent feature with 2 two heat elements and a warming area. The top smaller oven is the most used and therefore saves energy by not heating such a large area. Lower oven offers a large enough capacity with optional convection cooking. We did have a problem as our first unit was delivered and set in place. Have had this product in my home for 8 yrs with no issues. Has started to leak around a crack in the housing & will replace with the same model.

Quiet 0.5HP disposal

Replaced original (early 80s) disposal with same 0.5HP rating. Installed easily and works great. It's also quieter than the original.

Nice oven but can't be cleaned.

The lower door has openings to allow to air to escape. Unfortunately, this also allows spills to enter between the glass panes on the door. After three months the door looks filthy. I contacted Whirlpool regarding how to clean this and I was advised that I needed to have a service tech come out to clean my door. It is considered a "cosmetic" problem and is not covered under warranty. There is no way to avoid normal spills when using the oven. While I do like the double oven feature, it's not wor...

I did a lot of research on garbage disposals after the one that came with the home I bought went out. I read the reviews and was not impressed with the numerous insink errators, the reveiws were mostly bad. I felt more comfortable with a better name brand as these are not cheap! nice while it lasted, but...

We had this put in with our new kitchen three years ago. We ended up replacing it because it developed a big crack down the housing and spewed goo out every time we used it. It was nice when we got it, but didn't last as long as it should have for the money.
