Perfect replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to replace my original Whirlpool disposal. I bought the same model, just went up to the 1/2 HP instead of my original 1/3 HP. Replacing with same model works great since all the fittings match up. I'm not very handy around the house, but after watching enough videos and giving myself space under the sink and taking my time it was smoother than I expected. Runs great.

Constantly getting stuck

I replaced a smaller disposal that was leaking with this Whirlpool GC2000 model so I thought this would be better, but unfortunately it is not working well for me, it is constantly getting stuck with very little amounts of food scraps going into it, I turn it on and it runs for a few seconds then gets stuck, I get it unstuck and the next time same thing and was getting to the point where i told everyone not to put anything down the disposal and have a strainer stopping everything, now it is stuc...

Great Garbage Disposal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 1/3 horsepower disposal and this 1/2 horsepower disposal blew me away. Much quieter and way more powerful and the installation was a breeze.

Great product, watch the size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace my old GC2000PE for a GC2000XE, the only difference being the PE model comes with an electrical cord, and the XE does not. Figuring since it was the same model, it would be an easy install. Wrong! The size and width of the new model are different. It's taller and wider. So I had too cut and purchase new pipes in order to install the new model. All said and done, I am very content in purchasing this model, and it is even quieter...
