Leaking out the bottom

Did work fine, but leaking suggests critical internal failure.

This disposal was presented as very quite and efficient.

We have used Whirlpool products in the past for several appliances and have always been satisfied. The service has also been good when calling the help line.

Solid workhorse!

For a 1/2 HP disposer, there isn't much this thing can't handle!

Disappointed After 2 Years

We had this installed in our new home just 2 years ago. It worked fine until recently. We tried all the troubleshooting to determine the blades were free (no jam) and the internal wheel turned smoothly. Still, all we have after only two years of periodic use is a hum. Very disappointed given that we never used this roughly--only grapes, tomatoes, lettuce, rice, etc...

Quick replacement of leaking ten year old unit

I replaced a ten year old disposer of the same model. All the connections were in the same places so installation was quick and simple. The new unit works well and is a bit quieter than the old one.

This was installed a few weeks ago and I can already tell it is much more rugged and durable than the last one we had. Really does a great job of grinding the food and sending it on its way very quickly.

I love the 1.5 oven feature! This oven in particular has some nice features I love like the convection and the super speed preheat!

GC 2000 XE Whirlpool 1/2 HP Garbage Disposal

Great product for just under three years of use. Disposal performed as expected and only had to tackle minimal waste as a result of scraping excess food into the trash can before rinsing dishes. $120 for three years is a dismal failure.
