Stable but ladder is top heavy

Very stable but quite awkward to move ladder with stabilizer attached. As long as you have an extra person to help you move ladder to new location it makes world of difference. I still have someone hold bottom of ladder anyway since I’m quite high up.

Size Matters

Very well made device. But, it would not fit my aluminum ladder. So, how about some ordering information making this clear. My ladder is a very common 225 model. Seems a lot of lost applications because of the sizing limit. Was too small to fit the treads by about 1/4 of an inch..

It is worth the money

Easy to install and use. This is ladder protection you deserve.

Not for my needs

Needed something to rest the ladder on the roof. This is not made for that although some use it for that. It is good for leaning ladder against the wall. But, I would not trust the light aluminum to support me and the ladder if it was used to rest on the roof.

useful ladder accessory

Easy to assemble and attach to ladder. Does a good job of protecting edge of roof and shingles.

Great accessory

I wish I would have purchased this product 20 years ago. My ladder is so stable now I don't know how I got along without it when working on my gutters.

Ladder Stabilizer

I feel better on the 34' Ladder with the stabilizer. It is made very strong.

Stability & Added Safety

This definitely makes your ladder more stable. The only reason I did not give it five stars is the bottom of the Y bracket tends to catch on my guttering just as the two stabilizing feet are contacting my roof. I am going to try the other stabilizer that does not have this Y bracket.

Better Late than Never

I have been using extension ladders for almost 40 years. I find it unusual that I have never used a stabilizer. What a mistake!!!! The assembly took just a couple of minutes and to attach it to the ladder is a snap. The overall balance and stability I feel when I am 25 to 30 foot up is incredible. Why I waited I will never know, but one thing is for sure, I will not use my extension ladder again without it!!

Most Dangerous Ladder Accessory Ever!

I wish I could give zero stars! I bought a 24' werner extension ladder and this stabilizer a little over a month ago. Twice the stabilizer slid off while using it. It slid off breaking the little safety pin and chain. Once it fell off behind me while raising the ladder. We found out the locking mechanism that is spring loaded wasn't working. The spring inside wasn't keeping the lock in place. Poor design and poor parts for something that is being used 20' in the air. Safety wasn't a conc...

Gotta have it

If you’re gonna paint, or do siding, windows of pressure washing. Just go ahead and pick up one of these, makes the job safer and less aggravating.

Werner AC Stabilizer

I unboxed this, and used it immediately on my werner extension ladder, and it worked "super", No effort in attaching it to my ladder, just had to gauge roughly where it would work best.
