Would Not RecommendEvery other review seems to be positive but I can't for the life of me get this thing installed on my ladder. It puts all of the weight on the bottom safety bar which is extremely weak. I can't use it as I cant get it securely installed on my ladder.
Easy install removal.
Would RecommendVery quick and easy to install and remove. Very safe. Tested on roof and was able to avoid damage to gutters.

Should have gotten it long ago
Would RecommendI'm using this with a Werner Type 1A fiberglass extension ladder. Makes the ladder much more useful; since it holds the ladder away from the wall, the ladder doesn't interfere with what you're doing. It also makes the top much more stable and feels less likely to slip sideways. When the ladder is not extended, it can even connect to the top two steps of the lower portion of the ladder. The stabilizer breaks down easily by pulling two pins, and can then be stored in the box it came in.
poorly labeled
I can't speak to whether this product works, because I have a 225 type II werner ladder and this is not compatible. The box does have this written on the outside, but honestly it is poorly placed and easy to miss. There is NO MENTION of ladder compatibility in the instructions except small print saying to verify on exterior of the box. therefore I got to the end of assembling this item and then it did not fit onto my werner ladder, so then I went back to check the instruction manual, which le...
Ladder stabilizer
Would RecommendDefinitely helps with being & feeling more stable at elevation. And yes, it does make the end of ladder heavier, but I expected that.

No use manual equals 3 star rating
Positives: Product works well overall and I have used it several times. Assembly was also pretty quick. It is light weight, which is convenient, but somewhat awkward to store and carry to jobsites. Negatives: The pin that retains the lower bar connection can be tricky to align and push past its detent. It is never a show stopper but wastes a few seconds each time the unit is connected to the ladder. Another negative is that there is no use / assembly manual available online. The one th...

Incomplete ladder use labeling
Would Not RecommendJust bought this ladder kit. First thing on the instructions sheet are ‘to be used on Werner co. Ladders’. Instruction sheet was IN the box, not on the exterior box. Give me a break, it’s going back

Stabilizer
Would RecommendI modified my Quick Click stabilizer so that I was able to access these second story windows. I took two of the universal stabilizers, cut them where the radius began and, after drilling holes, mounted them in the bracket. Rock solid. Werner should have thought of this. The span is over 6’. Very useful. Only need one ladder to accomplish what previously took two. Not an inexpensive fix. But well worth it. Note the comparison between the original version and my version. Both are very useful.
