Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The soldering iron has mixed reviews. Many found it affordable and reliable for general electronics work, with the built-in LED light being a helpful feature. However, some customers were disappointed, reporting the iron did not get hot enough, had a short lifespan, and lacked quality compared to expectations. The lack of a stand was also noted as a downside. The reviews suggest the iron may work well for basic needs but has limitations and may not be suitable for more demanding applications.

Quit working after 5 months.
Would Not RecommendI received this last Christmas and it worked great. Today I'm using it, ten minutes into the project and it goes cold. LED lights work, but no heat. Weller used to be a great brand, but like so many other manufactured goods that are now produced overseas....Well, you know.

Simple. Affordable.
Would RecommendI need to solder two wires leading to the gauge that gave me the the reading of the current capacity of the propane tank on my Chinook RV. The wind was blowing 32 miles an hour, and the temperature was 17° outside. The soldering gun worked flawlessly. Heated up quickly and retained that heat during the soldering process.
