Would RecommendI used the iGrill 2 for the first time yesterday on a London Broil. Many of you know that cooking a thick steak has its possible results of being too rare or too well done. The results were right on the money and my guests enjoyed the medium well steak and raved about my culinary skills.

Would RecommendI have used this on chicken and steak so far. I could not be happier with the results. I seared my steaks on one side and flipped them and inserted the probes. I had three different temps I needed to cook and they came out perfectly. Rare, Medium and Medium well, perfect. I went ahead and ordered the extra probes and now I am ready to go with four hookups. This was a great purchase.

Would RecommendSo far have only used once for bone in pork chops and they came out done perfectly without having to frequently poke them with instant read temperature probe and burn myself in the process. Very easy to use and the Bluetooth to my phone made it convenient to monitor.

Would RecommendAfter simply checking out my purchase for a couple of weeks, I finally got up the nerve to give it a try. I watched a couple of videos to bolster myself...but it was do easy and gave me perfect results. I will toss the instant read thermometer and just plug in Weber iFrill2

Great Thermometer
Would RecommendAlthough I only received this thermometer a short time ago, everything works great. The cell phone app is a nice feature saving time from having to go outside to check the temperature. Seems to be well built and should last a long time. I have been using Weber Grilles and their products for many years and would never consider changing.

Not a fan yet
Would Not RecommendI’ve only used it once, but it kept disconnecting from my phone, very annoying. Also when it got within 10 degrees of being done it let me know every few seconds. Not impressed

Worked great for few months and then stopped
Would Not RecommendBought this item around 6 months ago, first it worked well but then stopped working. The thermometer is not giving accurate readings, the temperature jumps to extremely high, starts dropping and then the meter just shows "P1" in the display, then nothing. Then the meter restarts the loop by showing an high number and cycle starts again. Liked this product when it worked, I would not buy again knowing how long it lasted with the price paid.

Loses connection
Would Not RecommendI've owned this for about two years. It does work but if I lose sight of it, it drops the connection. It makes no sense to me to have a wireless thermometer that I can't walk away from. It works good so long as I stay close. The most frustrating part is that when it loses connection it stops updating the temperature nor does it reconnect when I get back to the grill. It's only when I notice the temperature hasn't changed do I know it has lost connection. I've overcooked one meal and came close ...

I grill 2 is so close
Would Not RecommendI love everything about this product with the exception of the lousy Bluetooth reception. I actually returned/exchanged it for another but the constant dropping of the Bluetooth signal was rampant on the second one as well. I gave it 2 stars since I can (with a lot of frustrating effort) manage to reset it and get accurate temps without having to open my Kamado Joe but I have to say I would not recommend buying this version. Hopefully Weber can fix the Bluetooth issue in the next model.

Would RecommendI've tried a few different systems, but this one has worked out the best. Easy to use, simple graphics, and reliable! Inaccurate
Would Not RecommendI bought this igrll2 2 years ago and the 1st time using it was great! The next 2 times on a Kamado grill it burned 4 pork shoulders (7lbs each) even though the temp probe in the grill was at 225-250F with the probe and the internal set to 195F-10hours later 1/2 of the meat was burned and dried out. I thought it was my kamado that was the problem, so I just bought a Traeger and set the temp to 225F! 3 pork shoulders (4,5,6lbs) and the probe only reached 194F after 12 hours so I removed! It worked good for the first 15 minutes.
Would RecommendFirst 15 min it worked great. Easy linked to my phone. But then. . . it turned off. Turned it back on, and 5 seconds later, off again. Hopefully it's the batteries, unfortunately I don't have any to check it. Still sad can't even get once cooking session from the batteries that were included, if that's what it is.

Probes are inaccurate
Would RecommendI bought the igrill 2 less than 3 weeks ago. One probe is consistently 15 degrees below actual temp. Probes side by side and 15 degrees different. Check temp with hand held probe and temp matches only one of the probes. Love everything about it except a faulty probe.
