Would Not RecommendI bought the iGrill 2 a couple of months ago and have used it on several occasions, both with my Weber grill and in our gas oven. The first time I used it, after the meat had reached the proper temperature on the iGrill, it looked undercooked when we cut into it. New One Stopped Working
This is my second iGrill 2. The first on was great. I just used it a lot and it was time for a new one. This one just stopped communicating with my phone about 1 hour into my smoke. It’s only the 3rd time I’ve used it. I did notice it did not have the same range as my first one. Nothing changed ... Same phone....same grill....same house. Bummed out because I’m doing an overnight smoke. No alarms tonight YIKES!!!

Would Not RecommendGreat Product, limited Bluetooth range, why not allow the product to communicate into the WiFi of the house, assign it an IP address so you can sync it to the phone (it’s been done with other thermometers). Would not have bought it if I had known the Bluetooth was soo limited.

Game Changer
Would RecommendSuper rad! I'm using the android app. No issues with connectivity. Love that this version has the readout on top. My significant other uses this for baking and doesn't care about the app, so they just use the buttons. Takes all of the guess work out of smoking. Never need to open the lid other than to rotate meats and add more smoking chips. Saves a lot of time, as the grill doesn't loose heat / smoke from opening the lid. Worth the money!
Would RecommendThe best iGrill that I have owned yet. The ability to ability to switch between each thermometer to see the temp without having to use the app is awesome. A true on and off button and able to have four thermometers is even better. I never realized how over cook I have been cooking fish, chicken and steak! So tender and juice.

Great meat monitor
Would RecommendThe product works as advertised. I was able to set up and connect and was up and running very quickly. The only issue is the blue tooth only works 25-30 feet away through one wall. It is great for cooking steaks or items that do not require long times because you have to stay so close. I had an overnight roast cooking and when I woke up in the middle of the night it had disconnected. It would be better if it worked across wifi or had a larger blue tooth range.

Inaccurate by +\-35 degrees
Would Not RecommendI bought this thermometer with hi hopes, been using it a week. I immediately notice the major fluctuations in temps. This morning I took out a pork loin out of the fridge place on a table to get to room temp, after 20mins in 85 degree day, placed it on the smoker plugged it in, inserted the temp probe. Worked perfect
This is easy to use and set up. The readout face is clear and bright. I did a prime rib that cooked faster than recipes stated. The igrill gave me proper temperature reading. The roast turned out perfect.

Terrible product!
Would Not RecommendWhen the bluetooth goes out of range and then you re-enter range it does not re-connect without having to fully re-aquire the device. Then you need to re-set your cooking parameters and you loose the history. It would make a good stand alone thermometer, except for the fact that it is very difficult to read the display in the sun. I guess if you have an old bluetooth phone that you could dedicate to it, that would work, so it never goes out of range, but that kind of defeats the purpose. Bottom ...

Laid-back grilling
Would RecommendAfter receiving my iGrill2, I put it to work immediately grilling a tri-tip to absolute perfection! I set the internal temp. at 130, after searing, and with the ambient probe, I was able to keep the grill temp. between 275 and 290. Low and slow. I ended up with a perfect grill job and I didn't have to babysit the grill in the 110 degree Arizona heat!! Great addition to my GenisisII.
