Would Not RecommendI purchased a Weber Smokefire Ex6 Gen II. So far the grill works great other than some moments where the fan doesn't slow down for lower temp settings and the temp shoots up to 400 on a slow smoke. The Meat Temp probs however are hit and miss. I have one that reads normal and the 2nd one I got with the grill fluctuates between 30 and 200 at all times and is usually off from the other prob 40 degrees at all times always higher so be careful.

Probes
Would RecommendWhen the probes were used the first time they were excellent. The second time they were used one probe temp readings were erratic. I ordered two new probes and have used them once. So far they seem to work fine. One of the wires, I think on the probe that didn't work properly got very black and coated with soot. So my cleaning the wire might have damaged it.

probe works good when its working but they quit working when they feel like it i cooked some ribeye steaks and they flamed up and burned out the probe which was my fault next i cooked a filet roast with no flame ups the new probe burned out before the meat reached 120 degrees had to finish with my digital thermometer i think the insulation needs to be improved
