Best $ spent

Bought this gem to stain the spindles on my deck. Normally would take 2-3 days by brush, had it done in about 1 1/4 hrs! best $ I spent in a long time!!

Dreadful - one of the worst products ever bought

Completely worthless. Hardly and spray followed by a couple of minutes where it's usable then it gobs/spits out the stain everywhere. I've cleaned the tube/nozzles 7 times in 2 hours. Shocking awful product, I wish I could give it ZERO stars.

Wow! Great BUY!!!

I was going to rent a paint sprayer but i bought one instead. For 69 this was a GREAT BUY!!!! It saved me from wasting wood stain. It applied evenly. I finished in no time at all!!

Terrible on Over spray!

I bought this Wagner for staining because it had such good reviews. I had a similar model years ago so familiar with the use. I filled the container half way with a Minwax oil-based stain and upon first press of the trigger this thing over sprayed a ridiculous amount onto the board. I turned the power setting as low as possible and it didn't help a bit. So given all of the good reviews I just assumed I must have been unlucky and got a defect. Took it back to Lowes and swapped out for the same mo...

Time saver!

Very dependable spray gun. I applied 37 gallons of ready seal stain sealer on my cedar fence with zero issues at all. The only reason i didnt rate it 5 stars is that the cannister needs to be larger. Had to refill often, but by far beats brush and roller!!! Clean up is simple with mineral spirits. Great gun for the money, buy one.

Gunk

I was unable to use it. It had some kind of gunk all throughout the sprayer when I took it out of the box. I cleaned it out, but it was still not working. I will be taking it back and looking at another brand.

Great Product

Used this to s[ray my deck. It is a good sprayer but it gets frustrating to refill so often. Overall good product may be best for privacy fences.

Good product

Good product for the price. I used this to seal my fence. It worked very well - no clogs or irregular sprays. I still had to wipe the boards down to spread the liquid more evenly, though.

Opti Stain Plus Sprayer

Do not cover as well as brushing it on. It leaves spots, thick-thin.

A good product, has good control where you apply the product. Easy to handle, not clumsy. It comes apart easily for cleanup. I would recommend this product!

Complete junk

Sprays way to much stain, even on the lowest setting. The pattern is far heavier in some spots than others. Wastes and incredible amount of stain making a very large mess. The cord is too short, leaving you constantly fighting with an extension cord even on small jobs. This will be returned tomorrow.

Sprays stain well

I was restaining my fence by hand. I decided to give this sprayer a try. It saved me countless hours of time. I had to clean it out twice during the process. I think I used less stain than using a brush and roller.

found this display unit on sale for $35. Check the contractor area for discounted display units and make sure everything is in the box. Got an extra 10% off for military too. If using for paint use flowtrol to thin it and it will workout better. Easy clean up.
