Better than expected

It works with a lot of prep work. Since I was doing our patio ceiling that was originally cedar wood it took a coat of Kilz paint, Sherwin Williams, & finally, Behr’s. Even after those 3 layers, the finished ceiling looked like I white washed it. I’m ok with that look. But I intended it to be plain Satin White. Thank goodness I had this lightweight sprayer or I might’ve quit 1/4 of the way. Just know that with the sprayer I used more paint for just a 16 x 16 area. I have shoulder & neck proble...

For small jobs only

Used this to stain my fence which was 316 linear ft. Well, as you know, the bottle is only 28 oz. Had to refill about 40 times. It applies well, and is easy to use, but can only get about 10-11 boards before having to refill. It's a pain in the butt to clean as well. I would only recommend it for very small jobs in absolutely no wind situations.

Saved me hours!

Bought this mighty little sprayer on sale. It works exactly as advertised. Nice even spraying. Super Fast coverage. Saved me hours and hours compared to brushing the stain on. Highly recommend. For the price, you will not regret this purchase.

SOOO much easier to clean and works great!

My 25YO Wagner paint sprayer finally died and with a new fence to treat had to buy a new one. Wow! So much easier to clean! And so much quieter than old product. While I hated to have to even use a power sprayer (can't apply most current products with a pump sprayer any more), this one did the trick. I just wish they came with a bigger reservoir. I am sure there is some technical reason but it is annoying to have to refill every 8 feet or so. It really did the trick, I did 85 feet of fence,...

Inexpensive and easy to put together. Light weight makes for easy holding. Only down side is the paint container holder is on the smaller side.

Pure pure Junk

Bought this to stain lattice cause I tried to do it by brush but that would have taken forever so after reading reviews 1 person said it worked great for that purpose so after following the directions I went to work on my lattice and Crist all mighty before you knew it I used a complete gallon of transparent stain only to have 1 side of 3 4x8 sheets of lattice done.I even tried to adjust the sprayer and it would only spot stain .I will return this plastics junk

Great for staining fences!!

As a homeowner, I don’t do a lot of painting any more. But when we got a new cedar fence, we wanted to coat it to help prevent water and weather damage and prolong its life. So, we bought this inexpensive sprayer and made short work of the job! Downsides are small reservoir volume with supplied plastic reservoir, and the time consuming clean up after using an oil based stain. But it works like a charge and allowed us to inexpensively stain our fence!

Great for staining deck

Had electric spray guns in past but never liked them ,this one worked great for staining a deck that is 8 ft x 10 with lattice done in 2.5 hours including masking house just do it on calm wind day

awesome sprayer

I used this sprayer and it worked like a champ. Used 10 gallons of stain and no clogging at all. Very easy to use. Cleaning was easy. Highly recommend for any stain project.

Time saver!

Purchased this to stain my pool deck and the job was completed in a fraction of the time vs hand application. If you have a large staining project don’t choose the cheaper alternative of brushes and staining pads. My only complaint is I wish the container was larger.

Nice paint/stain gun

I purchased this stain gun to re-do the fence. I'd spent hours (its a big, ling fence) rolling and brushing. But, the stain I bought this time was NOT oil based, and it was taking forever. So, I broke down and bought this gun. Very affordable, by the way. It was so easy. Though the stain container is not the largest, and you have to refill it . . . a lot, it really does a great job blasting the stain on to the fence. It is also super easy to disassemble and clean. Life changer

our first coat of stain for the deck took about 13 hrs by hand with a brush, so my husband bought the wagner opti-stain plus sprayer for the second coat and it literally took 40 min to do everything. it also gave it a thicker coat unlike hand staining with a brush . we love it...!!!!

Gets the job done

We bought this to stain our fence and highly recommend this model. We used a semi-transparent stain and the Opti-Stain Plus worked as advertised. We were able to complete the project in less time and without as much frustration than staining by hand. Cleanup was fairly easy and we liked being able to adjust the direction and force of the spray.

Tried pump up application of semi transparent stain on fence. Product was simply too thick. Ran got the Opi-Stain gun. Bam, stained 250 linear feet of 6’ fence with half the stain of 100 linear with pump sprayer. Talk about saving time. Saved 11 hrs with spray.
