Better than they use to be.

Worked fine, you can adjust the amount of spray. Quicker than a brush. Easy clean up. I used it with semi-transparent stain. I went a heavy but it worked out.

DECK STAINING

I was tent to try this to stain my deck but I was tired of being on my hands and knees with a brush to do about 800 square feet of decking. To my surprise it worked great!!!!!!!!!! The only thing I would do next time is get a larger bowl for it so I don't have to refill so often. Great product, easy to use.

Messy

Bought this to stain my deck. It did the job but was very messy. It constantly leaked through the threads onto the outside of the canister.

Not for spraying furniture

I purchased this for staining a headboard I built, hoping for an easy way to get the stain into the crevices. Unfortunately, the sprayer made a complete mess of the job. Even holding the sprayer at a good distance and reducing the flow as much as possible, I got way too much stain and stain that was splattering and uneven. Works Surprisingly Well

I had my doubts because my Wager Power Sprayer that I had about 15 years ago was a total piece of junk that took longer than the actual job to clean. Very easy to use

Worked well but I was expecting a little more control over the spray nozzle since I was staining lattice. Still worked fine with minimal overspray. Easy clean up.

This Wagner is great for small projects and was the right choice for my project. Easy to use and clean up.

I bought this after reading these reviews and glad i did. It made quick work of a 300 ft x6ft cedar fence that i spent 2 days pressure washing so i was not looking forward to more problems staining. I used this paint sprayer to paint my 200 feet fence and it took me about 4 hours because i had no experience about painting. Without the sprayer, there is no way i could finish it in one day. Cleaning is pretty easy and i could use it for my next project again.

Don’t waste your money if you are doing a deck

This product is trash. Bought it to stain my deck and ended up returning it. In the small amount of time i used it, I managed to get about the same amount of stain on my house as I did on my deck. It’s all or nothing with this sprayer. There is a knob that is supposed to adjust how much product comes out but either mine was defective or this thing either shoots out all of the product or non of it. Would not recommend.
