I have several woofed knives, but this is the first time that I've had to utilize the Warranty. I followed the instructions on the website and received credit for my broken handle chef's knife. I’ve owned Wusthof Classic (forged) knives for almost ten years now. Nothing comes close to the quality and usability. Lifetime customer here. Spend the money on the forged knives and you will never have to buy more again. Throw away the big box store stamped junk.

Ruined dinner.
My boyfriend was making stuffed pork loin for dinner, and over sliced it. He told me he nearly ruined dinner because my new knives were so sharp. These knives are awesome! Great balance and great edges right out of the box. We cook every day, and we'll use these for years.

The original knife was with me for over 25 years. It was my pride and joy of a career in culinary. How many hundreds of pounds of onions, carrots, celery we must have gone through together. Great Knife
I retired a couple of years ago and started cooking as a hobby. I never had a good quality chef's knife but now that I'm spending more time in the kitchen I decided to buy one. I researched the knives that were available and chose a Wustoff classic 8" chef's knife. WOW! it cuts so well and is so balanced in my hand. I love it!
