Would RecommendI purchase this a month ago to replace Vornado evap 3 & so far I'm happy with it. I like the energy saver feature and its very quiet on the low fan setting. The only thing I don't like is the light coming from inside of the tank makes it too bright to use in the bedroom . The lights on the controls can always be covered with tape but as far as I can see there is no way to turn off light inside of the tank. So I'm just using in living room .

Would RecommendThe 2 gallon capacity is quite nice. If you let it run without refilling, it will completely dry out, which I consider a plus (no nasty water sitting in the bottom that doesn't evaporate). The wicks don't have any extra plastic or anything, which means less waste. On the eco setting it's pretty quite, otherwise it's louder than the previous humidifier I had (but not too loud). It seems to be built pretty well, feels solid. On my previous humidifier, the motor got "sticky", I tried oiling it...

Would RecommendThis humidifier seems to work well. It has a variety of settings. It does not have a reading of the current humidly in the room even though it has a humidistat built in which is used to turn the unit on and off when it reaches or drops below the humidity setting you put in - however - a humidistat in the room reads much lower than the setting the humidifier is set at when it shuts off, so we cannot be sure how accurate the humidistat in this is. The air does not feel as dry as it does when we do...

Would RecommendSolid piece of equipment like other products, fan etc that i have bought from this vendor. Very quiet operation. Ocasional gugling as it sucks up water from its tanks. Not a big deal. Definitely would buy it again.
Disappointed also
Purchased two weeks ago. Was going to give it 5 stars. However yesterday I filled the tank up, turned it over and went to pick it up and the handle started to separate from the tank. It did not come all the way off but..I contacted VORNADO and they said they would send a replacement tank out to me. I also feel that they could have the tank fill from the top.

Would RecommendNice and quiet especially in energy saver mode. Water tanks are easy to fill. Does a good job of putting moisture in air with easy to use controls.

Disappointed with Purchase
Would Not RecommendIt leaked from the screw in the bottom of the water tank. The wick stayed dry even after running it overnight. The water tank is poorly designed so it's very hard to hold while trying to unscrew the lid of the tank to add water. I want5ed to like it but couldn't once it began to leak. The tank lid was tight so the leak wasn't from there.

Good Buy
Would RecommendI already had two single-tank units and wanted the dual tank one to increase the time between refills. I set this next to my bed, where it provides some white noise. It does its job and doesn't leave the surrounding furniture wet. All in all, a very good purchase.
