Effective overall but disappointed with humidifier's sound level and humidistat option. I have several Vornado fans and had always been pleased with their quietness at lower levels. This is quiet at it's lowest energy saving level but it does take time for the humidifier to reach the amount of room humidity where it will reduce it's power to that level. No White Dust

Bought the EVDC300 a few weeks ago. Very quiet and what I love the most is there has been no white dust.

Leaks

Less than 8 months old and leaks all over the floor. Fortunately, I had put it in a plastic tub to protect my wood floors. I can't find the source of the leak; there's no evident cracks so must be the tank seals. Warranty is useless as Vornado does not respond to online support.

Quality Product

Is well designed and easy to assemble/disassemble. Fan speed has a wide range, and is quiet. For less than $15 more for this model over the standard one I thought why not choose this one to save on energy.

Great Except for 1 Thing

I had to replace my last evaporator humidifier and wasn't happy about it. But I'm glad I found out Vorando makes them I have two of their fans. I like all the features this model has to offer and my bedroom is small living in NYC but figured since I sleep with the window open it would make it easier to fill up the room humidity level faster. I was surprised the unit is smaller than I thought not good with visualizing measurements nonetheless unit is smaller than what I replaced and that to good....

Best Humidifier I have owned

Quality Humidifier in a Beautiful and Compact Package

Excellent Humidifier

It's much quieter and more efficient than our previous humidifier. We noticed a significant change in the humidity once we started using this. We would highly recommend it!

Quiet and Simple

Really knows how to moisten things up!

The weather is so unpredictable, it really messed with the sinuses. My wife gets nose bleeds quite often because of it. I work at an urgent care and the only thing that has made him better is this! It really purifies our air and gets the dust and toxins out of it. Perfect size and POWERful!

I would def buy this humidifier over and over again because it really helps bring wetness to the room. I used it on my sick child and it worked perfectly and helped him breathe overnight. The things I don't like... limited on what humidity you want, ranges from 40-60%. It works for most people though so I can live with that however the thing I dislike is having to be the filter.
