Love the Victor Wooden traps for rats. I haven't found anything better, they just get the job done. I'm disappointed they've gone to a plastic trigger as I find the metal trigger traps more effective. I bought the last case of twelve with metal trigger traps they had all the remainder were plastic. :-(

Would RecommendI guess the 2 mine caught were bigger than it's intended for. 2 Rats took a full squared up hit and it severely injured them but both escaped the trap. One got away. The other just sat there looking at me bleeding until I bashed it's head in.

WORTHLESS....!!!
Would Not RecommendDO NOT BUY PLASTIC ONE. Victor took a trap that has worked for 200 years and changed the design. A plastic bar replaces the metal one that has worked forever. The plastic WILL NOT hold the bar arm, and I have several smashed fingers to prove it.
