Very Good

I bought this spray paint to help paint some plastic headphones. Didn't work out the best for my design but actually stayed on surprisingly well! The smell persisted for a while after I had applied the paint, it was the only minor thing that wasn't perfect. Thank you for the awesome paint!

stands up to kids and pet

I love all valspar paints. I like very colorful pieces and walls and chairs, just anything. Valspar comes in an array of gorgeous colors and stands up so well to everyday life. It wipes down well when you have messy kids and pets.

OW MY ARM

I just finished a project with four cans and had to stop after the first and ask for help because the "effortless finger pad" was anything but. Two days later and I'm still stretching out my seriously ache-y carpal tunnel tendons; I tried a bit with all the cans (and my non-dominant index finger, and both thumbs) and they were all the same. The paint color, sheen and coverage was fine. It will spray from any angle, the twist-lock cap is great, but why make spraying so hard? I'll pay close attent...

Great paint coverage

I am very happy with the color and coverage. My project came out nice due to the prep i put into it.The cap does suck,but if you pace yourself when spraying between coats its worth it. Yes it is very nice paint. I will use it again. P.S. my project took over 15 cans.

DOES NOT COVER

Terrible coverage! 17 sq. ft. not 35 Sq. ft as stated on the can! I bought the palomino orange. Nice color but would be nice to have it in a gloss or satin.

These folks really care

I was a bit unhappy with the results of a job with spray cans. I called and Andrea, the rep I talked to was so very nice and understanding. She asked enough questions to understand what I did and then came up with a more than satisfactory solution. Val Spar really wants its' customers to be satisfied _ I am more than happy, I will buy more Val Spar in the future

safety

I love the product but not sure about spraying it on children's toys, Is it non-toxic after drying? It is a little harder to depress the can nozzle than others I have used.

Ruined my project

I was excited to try the paint and primer in the, but I'm sorry to report I was less than happy with the results. The paint dripped everywhere and it was hard to spray--my hand was sore after a couple minutes. The worst part was it took more than forever to dry! It took almost a week and even then, there was a sticky feeling to the paint. I had to scrap the project and start all over with a different brand of spray paint.

Love... but a sealer?

I love how this looks on glass. Does this need a sealer?

Slow curing time

I like the coverage, but en in slightest humidity it takes up to a week to cure as compared to a cheaper "99 cent can" brand - wow; Time is money baby! I can answer the rest of this because the form is squeezed up to the left.

Great smell /colors

I like the way it sprays more mist like. Great for a 'newbie' and drips. I LOVE majority of the formulas have no caps. I use TONS, I mean Tons of spray paint. I hate the caps all over when I have 30+ colors on hand and 10 used in a day. I like the smell. I dont know what you did but, it beats traditional spray paint smell. The gold metallic I was disappointed in, the cap is a total fake out. Its more of a golden bronze not gold like the cap. Not a bad color just not a gold. My mother went thro...

Does not DRY

I spray painted a bathroom scale on Monday. It is now Wednesday and the paint is not fully dry. Not still sticky, but when you touch it, it leaves marks and fingerprints.

A little pricey for a can of spray paint, but very well-designed spray can. I didn't get any paint on my fingers when using it and I love the paint and primer together. It saves me lots of time. And the resulting paint job was smooth and even.

I absolutely love this paint. Love the fact that it is a paint and primer in one that covers exceptionally well.

Great coverage, lousy wear

I purchased this product along with the plastic primer to paint a set of plastic chairs and a table. I followed the direction on both products to the letter and within 2 weeks the color was fading from wear, the original white was showing completely through in spots. I tried it again on some scrap pieces of plastic, once with a self etching primer and once with a clear coat over top and all had the same effect.

True to color

The spray paint was definitely true to it's color and applied easily.

used the white gloss to paint a dresser, didn't have to use to much,I GUESS THE OLD SAYING LESS IS MORE WAS RIGHT. lOVE THIS PAINT.
