Works fine - from a distance
Would Not RecommendFrom eight feet away it works fine, but any closer than that the motion sensor is iffy. I purchased it to use in a small, walk in closet, and it is of no use for that purpose. The door opening into the closet or walking into the closet most often do not trigger the motion sensor. Walk out of the closet a few feet and it works fine.

Would Not RecommendDefective - would not respond to any motion in any direction. Was a returned item by condition of the package, so that may have been why and someone erroneously put back on shelf. Brand is usually good, not premium brand, but good.
