Shaft not long enough.

Tried screwing into my light socket only to find the shaft wasn't long enough to hit the thing at the bottom of the hole.

returned it, it was defective out of the package,

returned it, it was defective out of the package, Even the cashier pointed out that it looked like it had been opened. When I returned the same person was working the Customer service desk. I pointed out the I had written Defective in sharpie on the package, so they did not restock it.

motion detector for light

Great product as it only detects motion up to 20’ and not turning on when s truck goes by 100’ away. Works great

Pretty good

does what it's supposed to do. Sensitivity is a little erratic but never fails to turn on eventually, sometimes unexpectedly. Using in a walk in closet. Should have gotten one with the variable timer for turn off. Just something to keep in mind, product works fine

Garbage

Had this for 2 days stop working. Exchanged it for a new one same thing stopped working. It’s garbage returned it and went with a wired light fixture. This product has some serious flaws! The light has to be completely bare no enclosure or it will not work. Dust and retained heat from buildings walls etc will cause it to go off. Even worse it won’t go off at all or it will stay on entirely day and night.

Does not work

We purchased this for the laundry area. First one, doesn’t work. Took it back and exchanged it thinking we just had a bad one. Second one didn’t work. Took it back and spoke with the lighting department manager. Told her we had two and neither one worked. She swapped it for a third one and said, if it doesn’t work, bring it back and swap it for another one. We want something that works, not to be driving back and forth swapping them out. Save your money and time!m

Take off shelves Lowes!!

Apparently this motion sensor light is not working out for anyone. Wasted our time and money on an item that needs to be improved dramatically. Doesn't work.

Have had two so far...dont last

Had them in my garage, they dont last much more than few months....for the cost, definately NOT worth it. !!!!

Perfect for back mud room

This is perfect for my mudroom where the light is only operated by a pull cord. When the door is opened, the light comes on and stays on for at least 10 minutes of no activity. I never really timed it. I'm going to get one for my garage next.

proper installation

prior review stated that tip would not reach inner socket connection. I had same problem but solved it by bending inner tab out further with screwdriver and problem was gone. BE SURE POWER IS OFF before you stick a screwdriver in the socket! Light went out after 10 minutes and came on when I walked back.

Dusk to dawn sensoe

I am very pleased with the new Dusk to Dawn sensor I purchased for my outdoor poll lamp from Lowes. The sensor was easy and quick to install. Lowes always has the items I need at competitive prices. I also find the Lowes staff friendly and helpful.

Perfect light

Needed an affordable light with a motion sensor and this one was perfect!

How can Lowes continue to sell this product

Purchased in store, after it did work in my attic I read the numerous negative reviews. One star is one to many.

Poor sensor

I bought this for a walk in pantry. It was difficult to align the sensors without accidentally unscrewing the lightbulb. First, it wouldn’t sense me at all when I walked in. Then when I finally adjusted it to sense me, it wouldn’t ever shut off. I returned it and ended up finding a motion sensor lightbulb, which works much better (and auto off is only 30 seconds without movement as opposed to 10 mins on this sensor).
