Perfect fit
Would RecommendThis was a perfect fit for my furnace. I didn't need to call a repairman out in order to get the heater on before it got cold.

It works
Would RecommendNot much to say. It got my water heater working again. It Saved me a bunch of time doing this myself instead of waiting for someone to come fix it.

This is for older water heaters and furnaces
Would RecommendIf this is for a water heater make sure you use this type. most newer water heaters are using a different kind of system

Lifesaver
Would RecommendMy pilot light on my tank went out and all of my research said it was the the thermocouple. Lowe’s came through again with a replacement. I was able to take out the burner assembly and replace this. The pilot light stayed lit and we had hot water shortly thereafter.

Worked fine for me!
Would RecommendWater heater died, I couldn't get the pilot light to stay lit. Poked around the web, figured out that I needed a new thermocouple. Went to the local Lowes and bought this. It's a little long so I just coiled the wire some, but the job took me about 15 minutes and we have hot water again! Much cheaper than a plumber and I get personal satisfaction of fixing my own stuff!

Hot Water
Would RecommendWe returned from a trip and had no hot water to shower. The pilot light on our hot water heater would not light. Further investigation revealed the thermal coupler was bad. Lowe’s came through having a universal part that worked perfectly. We had hot water in less than 24 hours by doing it myself.
