Buzz like a powerline

The unit works well with my new video doorbell, however it does buzz very loudly, exactly like a powerline. I checked all the connect and interference and no issues therefore it may be a defective unit. I'm going to try and exchange it.

Installed a Nest Hello doorbell and existing transformer was only 14v , doorbell needs minimum of 16v for camera to work. This took care of that, wiring it for 16v configuration.

Works for Video Doorbell

Bought this transformer to replace the 10volt doorbell transformer in my house after purchasing our new Nest Hello video doorbell. Transformer works perfectly for the application, price was better than the giant online marketplace (you know the one I’m talking about) and Lowe’s had a dozen of them in stock at our local store. The only thing I would change is the description. It is a multi-tap transformer, not multicolor. Two thumbs up!

Not enough power.

I can't say this transformer is good or bad. Bought it for my ring doorbell pro. Thought this would have enough output, but it does not. Ordered a more powerful transformer and my ring doorbell pro works like a charm. This transformer should be perfectly fine for a traditional doorbell. Just not enought power to run my video doorbell pro.

This item has a range of different voltages. So if you need a higher or lower voltage for your doorbell this is what you want to get.
