What Customers Are Saying
The doorbell transformer offers multiple voltage options (8V, 16V, 24V) that provide flexibility to work with different doorbell systems. Many customers report the product was easy to install and worked well with their new video doorbells. However, some users experienced issues like overheating, buzzing noises, and premature failure. A few also noted the mounting method could be improved, and a small number found the transformer did not provide the correct voltage output for their needs.

Burnt out
Would Not RecommendInstalled this transformer for my Nest doorbell. It read 28 volts at the doorbell which concerned me but based on the but reviews in stuck with it. Within a week it overheated my doorbell melting some plastic parts and the power went out. I removed the transformer, tested it and it was dead. Also, it seems to have messed up the microphone on the Nest camera. I returned it and bought a different brand.
Bad Purchase
Would Not RecommendThe transformer quit working a couple weeks after getting it.

works with Logitech Circle View Doorbell
I installed this securely onto a junction box, used the 16V posts with 18 gage wire and the Logitech Circle View Doorbell powered right up. The transformer is silent so far and isn’t heating up much at all. Super easy to install.
Doorbell Transformer very nice
I bought this doorbell transformer to replace an old one not working. Very nice product easy to install and the voltage at the door was 24 volts everything I was hoping for. I like the ability to select different voltage ranges. I would recommend this transformer, great performance at a great price point.

Transformer primary coil burnt out
Installed this transformer for my neighbor in early 2020. In November 2020 his Ring (or Next) doorbell stopped working. Yesterday I removed the transformer and checked the windings in my shop. The primary 120-volt winding had already burnt out. The lower voltage secondary windings were fine. Disappointed with the reliability.

Works with a little modification
It hummed initially. Then I removed it from the mount, attached 2 layers of duct tape for vibration isolation (including on the end of the mounting screw), and now it's not making any noise at all.
Doorbell rings from both doors
A power surge took out our doorbell transformer (along with many other items!). Found this one at Lowes. Price was decent and installation was no problem.

used with reconditioned Ring Pro doorbell.
SImple installation. I used the 24v screws and it delivers 29v which is perfect for my doorbell requiring 16-30v. No unusual noise as mentioned by some reviewers.
Loud hum and heat when used for 16v
While this did provide the advertised power, it made a hum that was audible across the room and became quite warm to the touch. I retuned this one and ordered a dedicated 16V transformer that was silent and cool to the touch.
Plain and simple
It is what it says it is... plain and simple! :)
