Why you shouldn't order this online

Loved the product, absolutely nothing wrong with fit/form/function. However, I have received >2-3 phone calls per day since I ordered it online, after providing my phone number through the online ordering process. Will take my money elsewhere next time.

How Does This Have Such A High Rating?

Bought to power my Nest doorbell instead of buying another cheap plug-in one from Lorex like i use on one of my doorbells (which works perfectly, battery never gets low). With this, the doorbell shows it's plugged in, yet it's still constantly dying and has to be turned off to allow it to charge back up to 100%. I'm not sure what the failure is here but this product will not keep your Nest Doorbell charged.

Worked with our Ring Video Door Bell Generation 1, and still powers our NuTone Mechanical Chime from around 2014 install was quick and easy using the 24V 20VA line.

A Useful Low Voltage Transformer

This transformer provides a higher voltage and output capacity, with two lower voltage choices. Installation is reasonably simple for persons with experience in household electrical work. The method of securing the transformer in a standard knockout hole was new to me but works well. The included wire nuts may not be the right size for your wiring system, I had to use larger ones to accommodate multiple larger wires.

Buy the right equipment for the job.

Replacement for defective transformer

The product was easy to install; just hoping it lasts since it was bought to replace the existing transformer in a new doorbell chime that went after only a few months.

works for video doorbell

was getting low power warning on doorbell. replaced with this using the 24volt secondary. good to go now.

Low quality

The transformer was putting out almost 29 volts , too high from 24 and it was too pricey

Cheap product

I would not recommend this as a replace part The supplied wiring is entirely to short to properly install the transformer, the knockout hole mounting option is designed incorrectly because the screw threads are on the lower part of the bracket so the screw is to short to touch the box. The mounting screw slots are very shallow so there is not much to grab. Very disappointed with the product and would suggest finding another option.
