What Customers Are Saying

The reviews present a mixed sentiment about the product. Many customers found the bulbs to be bright, energy-efficient, and a good value. However, the majority expressed significant concerns about the bulbs' durability and lifespan, with a large number reporting premature failures within a few months of use. The poor quality and short lifespan led many reviewers to conclude the bulbs are not worth the money and they would not recommend them. The consensus seems to be that while the bulbs may be inexpensive, the tradeoff is poor reliability and longevity.

So far recommended.

I started replacing all my standard incandescent light bulbs with these as they burn out. I started doing this about a year ago and I have yet to have to replace an LED bulb. The light they give off is a warm white and I like that more than the yellowish of incandescent. The only problem I have found is that they do not work well in my outdoor garage lights that dim and are dusk to dawn. When installed in that fixture they flicker and blink on/off continuously. I have not installed these in othe...

failure after use less than year

Got a pack of these bulbs and they are already starting to fail. I have issues with longevity of this brand. Lowes had them for a great price, but I will not buy again.

High fail rate after just a month or two

I bought about 20 of these at my local Lowes and now understand why they were marked down. Six failed within just a month or two of installation. Most failed in outdoor fixtures where they were exposed to temperature variations but not to moisture. By failure I mean the bulbs turned into very dim night lights, less than 10 percent of their rated light output all of a sudden and eventually produced no light at all. The ones that work more than a couple of months seem to be fine. I bought both the...

You Will Definitely Use their 3 Yr Warranty

Would Not Recommend

After buying our new house I replace all the bulbs with these and the flood version on these led bulbs. It has been just over a year and I have had to return 12 of these bulbs. They say they have a 10 year life and come with a 3 yr warranty, sounds great seeing as they are the store brand and a good price. At random one after another flicker and then go dark. I have had no issue with the flood verison of these bulbs but the regulars are not worth the hassle, spend the few extra dollars on a name...

Short lifespan, do not buy these!

Would Not Recommend

The literature published on Lowe’s website suggests a 20 year lifespan. I have gotten less than 6 months with this set. These are used in a bathroom where the daily use is far less than the three hours used to determine lifespan. At a cost significantly higher than the CFL’s I replaced, the ROI was never realized. Our waste and recycling streams are not set up to handle the CFL’s and the LED’s appear to be a broken promise. I’m ready to go back to incandescent bulbs.

LED 60 watt equivalent soft white

Would Recommend

Very bright but great ambiance in the house. I use these in the common areas of my house and feels inviting and comfortable.

No lag time

Would Recommend

Installed these to brighten a dim hallway. These bulbs have an instant on brightness with no lag. The biggest issue I’ve had are these style bulds turning on but needing to “warm up” in order to get full brightness. These particular bulds do not have that issue.

Good Bulbs

Would Recommend

These bulbs are bright - easily outdo standard 60W incandescent and definitely outperform the 13W - 15W compact florescent bulbs. The only downside is that when used in a table lamp, most of the light is directed upwards - this is a very small issue. For those who are considering solar power and modified sine wave inverters - these bulbs (and the 40W versions) work very well on the modified sine wave inverters. I've had one running for weeks on one of these inverters with no issues.

Die in less than 1 year - BUYER BEWARE

Would Not Recommend

Got 4 at Lowes, installed an looked great for a few weeks. The 1st one died after a few months, then another started flickering, the 3rd spasmed and the 4th flashed. All 4 were dead in less than 11 months of <2 hr. per day usage.

Cheap quality LED bulbs, not worth the money

Would Not Recommend

I got these thinking I got a deal but I guess you get what you pay for. I have only had them a few months and they are starting to strobe and die on me. I got LED because I thought they lasted longer but my walmart CFL bulbs last longer than these.

Good bulb, but don't use in the bathroom

I generally like these bulbs, given the price and the light they produce. I purchased them in a Lowe's store, and may do so again because of what I like about them. It's what I don't like about them, what I had to find out for myself, that gives them the 2 star rating. If the manufacturer acknowledged the limitations, and made it easier to make a warranty claim, then more stars might be given. But that's not the case here. But, don't use these bulbs in a bathroom. Although the package says the ...
