Good LED but life is shorter

So here's the deal. These do not last as long as more expensive led bulbs. They carry a 3 year warranty. I have had about 8 go bad of probably 25. I keep the receipts each time I have bought them and when they go bad I walk into Lowe's and get new ones under warranty. I have yet to get one to last three years, but I have not had to buy many replacements because I just get warranty replacements from Lowes.

Guess my expectations were too high

Installed ten of these in new bathroom fixtures less than a year ago, expecting long life. Two have already failed completely, and a third dimmed to half the output. Failure of 30% failure at less than 1500 hours does not bode well for the rest. If you buy these bulbs, save the boxes. At Lowe's I was told they could only replace them within 90 days of purchase, and any other recourse would be from the manufacturer. Bulbs warranty is a fraud

Bulb lasted 32 days. The store won't take them back. Who keeps a receipts for bulbs??? Store needs a receipt to return. These are junk supposed to last longer than regular bulbs. If I were you I would stay away from these, you will get longer life with a regular bulbs and guess what they cost less.

Great for the price

I am very particular about lighting temperature in my home. I do not prefer cool, fluorescent looking light. These bulbs give off nice warm light very close to that of an incandescent bulb. I will continue to purchase these bulbs.

Poor Quality

I installed 8 of these over our double vanity in July 2016. 1 was DOA and 2 have burned out already.

Not right tone

Meant to get soft white. Wouldn’t use in my living area but worked fine in basement.

Short life

Low price / low life. Lasted approximately a month.

These work great with ceiling fans and they are dimmable.

Cheap for a reason

Last April I change all of our bulbs over the these LED bulbs. 7 months later and I have replaced about half of them as they don't work anymore. They put out great light while they last though. Some of the bulbs have less than 10 hours on them, some of the security lighting are probably close to 1000 hours, maybe. I have a few that are flickering but still work. The Sylvania bulbs I've been using as a replacement bulb are lasting so far with no issues but at a higher cost to buy. Skip these and ...

1 Year or Less Lifespan

Bought my new house just over 1 year ago (Dec 2016) and installed these everywhere (30 bulbs or so) due to cheap price. One year later, I'd say more than half have burned out. Currently 4 out of the 6 bulbs in my bathroom vanity light are dead. I will look for better bulbs next time.

4 LED bulb manufactures RECALL!

I've been using the A19 60w for over 2 years in my entire home and have yet to have one fail yet. Four bulb companies have recalls on LED due to faulty diodes provided by an outside vender and are replacing them free of charge. My home was built in the mid 1970s. Bulbs do not last as long as advertised

I have made a significant investment in Utilitech Replacement bulbs in the past year, and am very disappointed in how long they lasted. I have had to replace two 60 watt bulbs and 1 kitchen flood light in less than one year. I would consider the usage as average meaning they are on only a short time each day. Had I read reviews from other users prior to purchasing Utilitech products, I WOULD NOT HAVE! I guess this is the reason why Utilitech products are so much less expensive than other name br...

I love these new LED light bulbs, they are so bright and do not produce a lot of heat and is easier on the electric bill.

not very good

had one right out of the box that didnt work, i can over look one, then they started flickering and flashing, i'll spend a little more and get better bulbs and different brand next time 5 went bad to date. only had them 7 to 8 months

dont buy

just went through second bulb within a 2 to 3 month period.I was wiling to allow one being bad in a package of 6 but not 2.strongly suggest you buy any other brand.
