What Customers Are Saying
The reviews present a mixed sentiment about the product. Many customers found the bulbs to be bright, energy-efficient, and a good value. However, the majority expressed significant concerns about the bulbs' durability and lifespan, with a large number reporting premature failures within a few months of use. The poor quality and short lifespan led many reviewers to conclude the bulbs are not worth the money and they would not recommend them. The consensus seems to be that while the bulbs may be inexpensive, the tradeoff is poor reliability and longevity.

Would RecommendLED bulbs are finally becoming affordable but are still cost more than regular incandescent bulbs BUT they provide great light that costs much less to use and last for 10 to 20 yrs!
Utilitech 6-pack 60 W
Too early to tell - takes time to see how long they last and if we can see some reduction of electric costs. Easy to replace and light given off is good.
Cheap price, cheap bulb
Would Not RecommendInstalled 12 of these bulbs 6 months ago. Two of them decided they wanted to be a strobe light and had to be removed. Have not tried to redeem the warranty yet. Brightness and color are good, just didn't get near the 4.57 years of life!
Nice bright lighting
Would RecommendTook out what I had in bathroom and put in 6 of these and wow what a difference in light

LED way too bright !!!
Would Not RecommendHad one of the older 60 watt bulbs burn out on a "6" light vanity mirror in our master bath. Since they do not sell the "old style" light bulbs anymore, I purchased the same 60 watts in this LED. When I put it in, it looked like a 200 watt bulb !!!! So, I went back to Lowes and returned them and bought a 6 pack of the LED bulb in "40 watt" size as I thought that would be my only option. When I installed them in the bathroom mirror light bar, it was like looking into the sun at high noon !!! Now ...

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
I bought these to replace EVERY bulb in my house. NOT 6 MONTHS later, I have replaced more than half. Not worth the money. I am replacing them with the Great Value (walmart brand) for testing purposes. I WILL NEVER BUY UTILITECH BRAND AGAIN.

Light bulbs LED
Would RecommendDon't know how much detail you need. The light is brighter than the regular 60 watt bulb, it dimmable, and we'll see how long it last.
Looks great performs terrible
Would Not RecommendBulbs are reasonable priced; they seem to really brighten a room; however, they only last 2-3 months and I have completely redone my house with these; and they are dying out light flys. Would not recommend this product; and Lowe's doesn't stand behind them either, and you cannot get hold of Utilitech for warranty. Thats why this gets only 1 star; no one stands behind their product anymore hardly.
Cheap Price for LED - Short Life...
Would Not RecommendGot twelve of these in August 2016 to install in our Kitchen recessed fixtures. We use the Kitchens lights infrequently. So far, I've replaced four of these since August of last year! So bear in mind the old saying...you get what you pay for!

Poor quality - Not even a year
Would Not RecommendI bought the 6-pack in April of '16. One is out and two are flickering randomly. They sit in a chandelier that is used 5 times a week, and only one for an hour or two at a time. Meanwhile, the incandescent (monster squashing variety) in my kid's closet, has been on non-stop for almost two years straight.
lasted six months in household, room temperature
Would Not RecommendI hope this one that failed today is unusual. It lasted about six months in kitchen use. household, room temperature. I have about five others that are still working. says on the package will last up to 22 years.
good light
Would RecommendSo far they seem to work good. Haven't had them long enough to really see if they help on my bill or to see what kind of life span they will have.
60 Watt LED's
Would RecommendUse these all over the house as well as in my enclosed outdoor lights with great success, no issues at all.
Do not buy, these do not last.
Would Not RecommendHave replaced two Utilitech LED bulbs in the last two days. I have had them less than a year and lost two this week. Have other LED bulbs from ECO Smart, and GE Light sticks that work fine. Buy anything other than these as they are not long lasting.
Burn outs
Would Not RecommendBout 12 of these to replace the incandescent bulbs we had in the house back in January. 6 weeks and 7 of the 12 have burned out. A fe others have started to 'hum'. Not worth the money.
So far so good.
Would RecommendThe color is decent. The light is bright. We haven't used them long enough to be able to comment on their durability.
Bad Bulbs
Would Not RecommendWe purchased 24 of these light bulbs in August, 2016. As of February, 2017 8 of these bulbs have gone out. If it continues I will have to replace all of the bulbs in less than a year. If I had it to do over would not buy these. Apparently they are cheaply made and do not last the 13 years like it states on the package.
These don't last. Buy a better brand.
Would Not RecommendThese bulbs burn out in less than 6 months. Going to try and return six that I have saved that are burned out. I'll get a better brand next time. Invest a little more money and get a branded bulb like sylvaina.
