What Customers Are Saying
The reviews present a mixed sentiment about the product. Many customers found the bulbs to be bright, energy-efficient, and a good value. However, the majority expressed significant concerns about the bulbs' durability and lifespan, with a large number reporting premature failures within a few months of use. The poor quality and short lifespan led many reviewers to conclude the bulbs are not worth the money and they would not recommend them. The consensus seems to be that while the bulbs may be inexpensive, the tradeoff is poor reliability and longevity.

Would Not RecommendI was hoping these light bulbs would be brighter. Probably the reason they are not is the number of lumens. When purchasing light bulbs always be aware of the lumen number. The higher the number the better the light is.

Very short life span
Would Not RecommendBought 24 of these for new house. 5 burned out within two months. Avoid this bulb! Lowes DID return my money.
Avoid these lights like the plague.
Would Not RecommendI purchased a 6 pack of these lights roughly 6 months ago. So far, all 6 have failed. 3 flicker constantly, 2 wouldn't get past dim, and the last one worked for about 2 weeks and died. These lights are absolute garbage!!!!!
lasted a couple of months
Would Not RecommendThese bulbs are terrible. I used 2 in a lamp and the first one lasted about 6 weeks. The 2nd bulb was out a couple of weeks later. A waste of money and will not buy another light bulb from this company.
Great Bulbs!
Would RecommendCompact size, nice and bright. Certainly beats out those squiggly CFL bulbs.

Do not buy
Would Not RecommendThese bulbs are inexpensive and do not last as long as an incandescent bulb. Spend the extra few bucks for a brand name bulb.
18 months and still going strong
Would RecommendI purchased about a dozen of these two years ago when Lowe's had them as a black Friday sale at $.99 each. I wrote on their base the date I installed them so I could have a reference point whenever it was time to replace them. So far, none have failed and I love them. They are installed in a mix of lamps, bathroom fixtures, ceiling fans, etc. and have had ZERO issues with them. All still turn on instantly, have not reduced light output, and well, they just keep going. I know some have said their...
Life 4.6 years is a lie
Would Not RecommendZero stars. I bought four of the two packs in February 2017 I am on my last pack due to premature burn out. The bulbs were not burning 24 hours a day, at most 1 to 2 hours a day. Other brands I have purchased over a year ago are still burning.
Blackout
Would Not RecommendWe replaced every single light in our house with Utilitech bulbs and 13 months later I replace the last one with another brand. These lights are all going on at my house for hours per day and it was very disappointing to try to be a good steward and this happened. I would've given it zero stars for the amount of light is now put out
Please with my purchase
Would RecommendDespite the mixed reviews of this product I purchased it to replace the 5 bulbs in my dining room light. All of the lights worked as expected. There was no 'hum' and the brilliance of the light was just what I needed. I am very pleased at the cost.

Perfect shade of light
Would RecommendHave been replacing incandescent bulbs with led bulbs and have found the "warm white" to be an excellent all around shade. The "daylight" version was just too harsh for my tastes.

Dependable bulbs
Would RecommendI installed these 60W bulbs in all the wall Sconce's at home, they work very well and produce enough of light. It has also reduced our energy consumption.

Fluorescent bulbs
Would RecommendVery bright, instant on like a regular bulb. No problems yet.

Bright, not too yellow
Would RecommendI was surprised by these bulbs. Lighter than many early generation LED fixture bulbs running off 120VAC, these are brighter than small 60w globe incandescents I had, and the light coverage (downward, toward the base) is pretty good for an LED. These are also "whiter" than many "warm whites" that I've seen, so I would highly recommend these, especially at the price point ($.60 ea on clearance)
lasted less than 60 days
Would Not RecommendWe purchased 10 of these bulbs and installed them as they were needed. 6 have been installed and 4 have gone bad. the most resent one installed lasted less than 60 days in my front outside lamp. Lowes would not handle the replacement when asked.

Horrible Life
Would Not RecommendBought the six pack 6-8 months ago. I have had to replace all 6 bulbs already. I did not leave them on all the time. My old fluorescent bulbs have outlasted the entire Utilitech LED pack.
Short life
Would Not RecommendI purchased enough lights to replace ALL of the incandescent bulbs in my house with these Utilitech bulbs. Unfortunately 66% of them have burned out in less than a year. 5000 hour rating = 208 days of continuous use. I would be surprised if they lasted 1000 hours. Of course, I have no way of measuring how many hours they have been on but certainly not even close to the 5000 hour rating. I have slowly been putting the incandescent bulbs back in to replace the burned out LEDs. So here I am a year ...
